Game 3: Lions @ Redskins Thread

The Lions were told before the game the machine to get sideline pictures was down and Detroit coach Jim Schwartz said “the whole first half we were flying blind.”

It wasn’t as big an issue in the second half because of an act of sportsmanship by Washington. The Redskins shared their pictures with Detroit.

“They shared their pictures in the second half,” Schwartz said. “They knew that we were at a (dis)advantage. They don’t have to in that situation but I thought it was a very sportsmanlike move and shows the class that they have.”

Jason Jones is lost for the year. That's going to hurt.

Trade for Aldon Smith. The 49ers cleaned out his locker and told him hes suspended indefinitely lol. He'll fit right in with our drunk, drug users that cant drive.

Great to finally see a win at Washington LKP, huge step forward to get wins in places you never win at...now don't go losing a bunch of consecutive games now as a follow up! Oh and yes please tell linehan to come up with something better than that to ice a game with... Tia

Yep you are one of them. Will enjoy your lack of complaints this week

Disclaimer: This is not aimed at Mitch

The complainers will always find something to complain about when it comes to the Lions. They could go 16-0 and win the Super Bowl with an average winning margin of 30 points and some Lions fans would still be calling for firings.

Nice disclaimer.

I love the Lions and today rooted for them as much as LKP and anyone else does. Not sure LKP gets that.

With that being said, I don't see a huge problem criticizing a team after making mistakes in a game that should have been a W. Like against Arizona. Or the fact we've had bad 2nd round picks. I'm entitled. Its bad form though to feel the better fans are the ones more positive.

The quality of the fan is not determined by whether or not the person is hopeful or cynical. But it's really stupid you guys argue and bicker about stuff like this.

Somebody says your not a good fan? Your on a lions message boards and have thousands of posts, clearly a big fan. Shrug that fucker off.

The lions were great today, very happy with everybody.

And until they win that allusive Super Bowl all of us great Lion's fan's will still be there just about every darn week hoping and praying that we will hold on to any win...
Frustrating that we are not all aloud to have our opinions without someone getting mad..

It's not like the Lion's have won more then one Playoff game since the late 50's..
This franchise needs to step it up over a 16 game season and the playoffs then they will deserve our respect...

I pretty much doubt if what you said above would make anybody mad..

Steelers have made a bit of a comeback against the Bears. Down 27-23 now..

Not mad just a lesser fan ;-)

Its fine if you complain about the mistakes, but you should be doing the same for the good plays. In the end you talked more about the mistakes then the good plays. Do it on an even level and it can't be looked at as being a negative whiner.

I'll borrow Bobs post a bit. One playoff win, a win but against a better team we need to do better. I always say Staff is the best QB in my lifetime but its hard when you keep on seeing 2nd round busts or mental plays like when Delmas went in someone's face against Minny.

I don't need to be even level to be a fan.

Look at the Tigers game threads, much anger over bad bullpen to not hitting in key situations on a game by game basis and there is no doubt everyone who post there is a true die hard fan. Its called passion. No different here..

Peppers INT TD return. Ugh. Pretty much over now..On the bright side, Rapesburg gets another loss..
