Game 9: Lions @ Bears Thread

So last years vote was based on the one time they saw him 2014 or 2010? And these same players vote on average over the years better than Stafford, Luck and Flacco and all the other ones you have distaste for but somehow those don't matter. Matt probably got 50 #1's from his own teammates.

Keep going, Mitch. I am so enjoying watching yourself completely bury yourself over and over. It's a thing of beauty.

Half bottle of nighttime 3x the pill night night lions

Cya next week for the next shit show

So it's obvious Stafford has done harm to Hughes family. According to you, Ebron's success is Luck and Ebron's failures are on Stafford lol.

Ebron's also tied for top 3 in drops this year... But yeah Stafford made him shit here right? Wasn't that we never schemed for him or that he was never confident here, Def all on Stafford AMIRITE?!?!

Sarcasm??? 🤔. Ebron has talent. He's proving it right now. No knock on Ebron but there isn't a lot of mouths to feed in Indy. Hilton then who??? He's a huge part of that offense. He never even had the same volume as a Lion. Calvin, MJ, Riddick, Tate all ahead of him. Then the Lions were trying to establish Golladay as a rookie. Cooter had no idea wtf to do with him. He took him out of redzone packages here lol. Why?!?! Cooter ruined Ebron's first 3-4 yrs as a Lion. He needs to be fired now!!!

I always said the man was top 6. Borederline 5th. It's beed said. You're just butthurt over it...

He isn't either so it doesn't really matter. You said it just a couple weeks ago. Our QB blows. Face it.

Nah. I'm good. He doesn't blow. He's been too good in the past to continue this. He needs to pull his fucking socks up though. The NFL can spell Not For Long if this shit continues. It's time to start cleaning house on offense. Cooter being #1 priority...

100% agree. GETTEM OUTTA HERE

boy....a lot of Stafford bashing again.

On a side note, in case anyone cares, I flipped a coin and it came up M. Jones over A. Rob. That didn't work out too well for me.

Back to Stafford. I have never been a huge fan. I have always said he is an above average to good QB. Borderline top 10 guy...sometimes just outside of that. He has been really bad lately but I think a lot of that has to do with play calling and shitty protection. As bad as he has been, he isn't the main problem. This team is bad from top to bottom.

We have the worst offense AND the worst defense in the division. Great job lions!

The offense all starts with Jbc. He has to go. What bothers me is Stafford sticked up for this clown big time. When you look at other good offenses around the league they are so much better then The Lions. I just don’t get why Stafford even likes Cooter ? His offense And playcalling are just flat out awful. I guess familiarity is all I can think of.

They always get the blame, play calling and protection. Eventually you gotta go to the source. When Matt has time, open guy - he screws up too much. Behind the guy, 10 feet over his head - keeps the ball too long and and can't seem to read the defense. Best play call and protection won't change those.

Edit: And we went from Lombardi to JBC because Matt needed safer play calling. Short passes. We don't open it up not because of JBC but because of Matt.

First half drive
Sack on 3rd down with unblocked man
3rd and 1 stuff after a 9 yard pass. Blount no gain on first
Marvin Jones fell down on the int.

It was 26-0 then with no defense.

Then TD drive and FG drive

Yeah it's Stafford's fault

Then Kerryon Johnson fumble
Illegal block in back made in 1st and 20 on next drive
Next drive could be Stafford, terrible punt by Martin
Bears last TD up 34-10
Int on next drive but it was 4th and 15 with nobody open. The int was actually better than an incomplete from field position
Then TD
And another TD after onside
Then last drive with no time down 12 and no time outs
