Gholston will probably get 1 game, same as Mouton got. BTW, Michigan wasn't going to suspend Mouton, the BIG 10 had to hand it down. I think Gholston should sit the Wisconsin game. It will hurt us, but we have some depth at DE. You can't do that type of stuff.
What is hilarious to us Spartans is how much we are in your fan heads. You guys areaabsolutely consumed with a team who you claim isn't even your biggest rival. Why is this thread in the U of M section and not the MSU section? What I think is that although the OSU game is a bigger rivalry for you folks, losing to State hurts worse because you feel you should beat them every year. Not to mention there are a lot more family rivalries like mine where half the people went to U of M and then half the people went to MSU. Lose to OSU and there is no one in your everyday life who will say anything about it, lose to MSU and you're surrounded by Spartans crowing about the win. And let'sface it even the OSU fans I know in Michigan keep a pretty low profile and are gracious after victories being so out numbered and away from home.
Only about 5% of U of M fans have shown an ounce of class after this loss. As in good game, you guys were better. The other 95% are having whiny meltdowns and want to focus on fluff like a few rough plays rather than the fact that a better team beat them. It's the definition of a sore loser and a classless way to handle a loss. That being said, I'm going to rub your noses in it for 365 days because although I have a lot of respect for U of M football I think they have some of the most arrogant fans in all of sports.
Who's saying MSU wasn't better? If anything, the penalties helped to keep Michigan in the game. More importantly, I should address your 1st point. You seem to think nobody is condoning what Gholston did, what about your D-coordinator? Nobody would whine about a little bit of this stuff. We all know it happens. But under MSU's current leadership, it happens a lot. It's not the players, it's the coaches.
