Goodbye schwartz

Bro, where you been? Its all Staffords fault that the season tanked and coaches got fired. Fn retarded!!

Bro, where ya been? This team is the most talented team in the NFL! they are stacked everywhere with depth at every position. Defense is sooooo awesome.....top 5 vs the run BABY! Dline is the best in the NFL....hurries is the best stat in the wooooooorrrllllddd and we can hurry the qb with the best of them. Ross is the man dawg! Levy is all pro! Quin is the best FA signing since Joe Montana went to the chiefs! Stafford, megatron, bush.....do I even have to say it?.....ya...I do.....awesome!!!!! Oline is the best passing oline in football. 7 wins was more like what they really are....8 losses just flukes. Giants, pit, bal, philly were all good 10 years ago....no wonder why we lost to them. Bad scheduler gave us a .450 something SOS....but he forgot it was like .850 for those teams in 1997. Bad luck...

forgot your meds, man?

with the exception of the Ravens game, the D should have been able to hold to a FG instead of letting up touchdowns.

the picks still didn't doom the leos (aside from the Giants game with a pick-6) in terms of the loss being squarely on the offense, but the D needed to keep the other team out of the end zone when it counted, and they didn't.

i think people are misunderstanding me on this topic. it was definitely a whole team effort in losing. i just think that blaming it ALL on Stafford is nonsense. Stafford certainly played like dog shit, but to pin it all on him is wrong. the D falling apart when it needed stops the most are also to blame (and i think the D is more to blame, but that might just be me).

No one is blaming it all on him, but the QB is the most important position on the field. Down the stretch when the only QB you outplay is geno Smith you have a problem. Pick six against gmen and Bucs. Going 19 of 46 against steelers does not help your team win.

Scoring 17 points a game over the last four is not good enough.

the sad part is all of that has been said from either you or LKP lmao.....who needs the meds?

Nothing sad about it. Youre losing your mind, dude...you seriously need to root for another team.

and I probably did say a few of those things. Especially the Quin signing (who everybody nutted when he came here) and the DLine being better than the numbers look because dummies (you) love to judge a DLine soley on sacks ......lol

Buddy, theres two or three guys putting this whole season on Stafford. Look around lol

i didn't know the QB played defense too? holy crap, you learn something new everyday.

and as tony said, there are a few people trying to place all the blame on Stafford.

Anyone who didn't put this squarely on jim Schwartz is fooling themselves.
2nd most responsible is QB play.

Im not buying the "2nd most responsible" statement. TOTAL TEAM MELTDOWN. Starting with coaches, offense, defense and special teams. Bad QB play, big time fumbles, drops and a joke of a defense most of the year let US the fans and themselves down. I don't believe in "QB gets all the accolades when youre winning and gets jeered when youre losing" mentality. That's all media driven IMO and people are too ignorant to look at other factors on why this season was a fn disaster.

For sure, man. Stafford was on Antonio Brown the whole game. You didn't know?

I'm getting sick of them saying Stafford is very talented. He had one solid year and came back with two less than average years. I'll be shocked if he improves over 2013 unless the new coach keeps him to 20 passes or less.

agreed. becoming very romo'esque.

17 points a game and you want to blame the defense....you guys are srsly fucking dumb.

Down the stretch I think the defense did enough to win at least two more games. There were games where the defense didn't do enough, games where the receiving core didn't do enough, games where special teams didn't do enough, but no one stunk it up as consistently as Stafford.

Again when you are in the drivers seat for the North title and the only QB that you are better than is Geno Smith you did not play good enough. It's hard for me to put as much blame on a WR that started the season as 4th string and is making a low salary, compared to a #1 overall pick that is one of the highest paid at his position.

He needed to raise his game when the pieces around him aren't as good, he did not do that.

I don't think it is all on Stafford but he played like absolute horseshit when the games mattered and we needed a win. I hope he becomes a hall of famer, I am not trying to rag on the kid but I put most of the blame for the disappointing end of the season on him. He needs to be a leader and I felt like when he cancelled the players only meeting that was a huge mistake because it was his chance to take the reins and lead this team. He needs to grow the fuck up and accept the fact that a coach or guru could take his game to the next level.

17 points a game? For who? lol

Detroits Offense : 24.7 points a game #6

Detroits Defense : 23.5 points a game #16

You lose again. Who's the dumb one?

If you can remember, it was 17 points a game put up by the Lions offense the last 4 games. You responded to Brewer's post on the previous page that clarified that, so I don't know how you already forgot.

You dont know how i already forgot?? lol....dont go beating yourself up or losing any sleep because of it, ok? its called weed ....i forget things sometimes lol. But the 17 points makes a little more sense now. Im not completely blaming Stafford on it though.

Sure lol

Youre obviously one of the dummies who thinks its all on Stafford I bet.

All on Stafford?? Not at all, but he was the biggest problem in the second half of the season. I don't remember him taking over a single game like the elite QBs in this league know how to do. Do you, maybe I forgot one??
