There is a lot of speculation involving whether or not Hanley is accepting the signing of Reyes as the presumed move to either 3B or CF. Even posting on his twitter account about a lot of people wondering what he is going to decide to do.

Whats is interesting though is a picture posted today after some of these talks.

Here is hoping there is some talk between friends to try and make a splash.

Miguel looks like he has put a lot of work in so far this offseason
yeah, he looks a bit slimmer than i think he was even this summer.

Not saying I think he is but he better not be roiding.
He doesn't look like it. That looks like Miguel in his post game interviews without his jersey on, looks more like he has turned his chub into muscle.

Nick Castellanos, Crosby, Rondon, and Danry Vasquez. Marlins will be more inclined to do it so they can free up some more space for Pujols and possibly CJ Wilson

Miggy looks to be in great shape in that pic. Hanley too. I saw some serious Ozzie spin on Hanley earlier today (Foxsports.com maybe?) saying some crap about it being Hanley's team and him being their centerpiece, but that's ridiculous. They wouldn't have gotten Reyes if that was the case. They certainly aren't gonna fool anybody into believing that if they move him and sign Pujols too. I think Ramirez gets traded, and I could see us being at the front of the line for his services.

I'd give them Turner and Castellanos and not think twice about it.

Honestly any package from us for Hanley will include Porcello as well as the Marlins are looking for MLB ready players as they are in the Win/Now mentality especially if they sign Pujols.

The problem though is there will be several suitors for Hanley most notably Atlanta and they have probably the best piece available to trade with the Marlins in Jair Jurrjens but could be reluctant to trade Hanley within the division and if indeed they do trade Hanley they would prefer outside of the NL less lone just the division.

Another picture was taken later in the day with the 2.

honestly, i dont think he will get traded. no matter how hanley feels about it, the marlins front office seems dead set against trading him and instead moving him to third.

Yes that they do BUT that could very well change IF they sign Albert as if they did they would not be able to sign a pitcher and as they have stated would then be looking to add pitching via trade instead of signing any of the available free agents.

Hanley is by far their best asset if they look to acquire pitching via trade thus the reasoning that I stated if they looked at trading Hanley our best package back to them could very well start with Porcello. He is really our only MLB starting pitcher that we would consider in a move that the Marlins would be interested in.

The package from us could very well start with Porcello and Nick Castellanos just at the start and could expand to adding either another player on our MLB roster (possibly Austin Jackson) or 2 higher tier prospects.
