Hoops vs MSU

Belein owns Izzo. I know he doesn?t get the recruits but man oh man he is a hell of a coach. Well done! Good luck in the tournament

It's like upside down world. Pretty sure this has been said a dozen times involving football but in the reverse order with different coaches.

Will Tieman's call on Robinson's layup:

"Well, some days the ball just rolls your way. That's what happened with the University of Michigan."

HAH. Yeah, that's what happened Will.

That team full of future NBA stars, a Hall of Fame Coach, and 4/5 star recruits all over the place had to resort to intentionally fouling the opposition with 2+ minutes to go each time they played their biggest rival. And still lost by double digits each time. And none of those games were even played in Ann Arbor.

That same team that lost 5 games in the weak ass Big Ten beat your favorite team twice and quite easily each time huh?

You really think your d caused those wide open misses all game? For some reason MSU settled on jumpers and it cost them. Hopefully they learn from it.

Bottom line is that your best win was vs MSU and our worst lost were vs Michigan. That should tell you all you need to know.

What tells me all I need to know is we kicked your ass twice and you can't stomach it.

Nobody cares if your misses were wide open or not. Your Sparty goggles won't hide the reality that you came up small in your two biggest games of the year thus far.

So losing to NW, Nebraska, North Carolina and Purdue(twice) don't matter? I mean, MSU beat all those teams. You do realize that they don't hand out a trophy for beating MSU, right? You do actually have to beat other teams too.

No, if you actually followed college basketball, you'd know that we had 3 games bigger than Michigan. NC, Duke and Purdue. We went 2-1 in those.

I'm not happy we lost to Michigan, but it's not the end of the world.

We're talking the state of the rivalry here. You were beat soundly plain and simple. Losing to NW in OT is irrelevant in this discussion. You think I care about that at this point? Boo-hoo we lost to NW. *Cries*

I don't care about beating MSU over other teams. I just enjoy self-absorbed douchebags getting a little comeuppance. The speed at which you reply to these posts tells me how much these losses bothers you.

Find me one MSU fan who would take a win over any of those 3 teams vs a win over Michigan and I'll give you a million dollars.

I seem to remember a banner getting raised last week in Breslin. Can't remember what that was for tho.

And you're a fucking retard if you don't think a win vs North Carolina or Duke isn't bigger than a win over Michigan. Hell those might even be bigger wins in Football right now lol

Change the conversation that's fine. You enjoy that banner, while I enjoy going 2-0 in convincing fashion both times against your green asses :) we'll see who has more fun.

Now you're just lying through your teeth You can pretend all you want, but we all know the truth. You bringing up football in a basketball conversation proves it. And you lost to Duke anyway?

You can thank the B10 for that banner seeing MSU had the easiest possible schedule. MSU may have won the B10 but only because you only had to play 1 top 5 B10 team on the road. Michigan played all 4 other teams in the top 5 on the road. MSU only has 2 wins vs teams currently in the NCAA tourney according to Lunardi.

And if the rumors about Izzo are true that banner can come down just as easy as it went up.

What rumors? Hungry whispering that in your ear during pillow talk?

So anyways...Purdue tomorrow - actually later today - for the B1G tournament championship.

was one road game against the top 5...and we all know what happened in that one road game...19 pt blow-out

they won 1 hm game against Purdue, lost to OSU, lost to Michigan twice, beat Nebraska at home and beat PSU at home

they won the title. that was the schedule that they got, but that is a weak schedule.

MSU has the better record. Michigan is the better team right now. Some of those big ten games were weeks ago.
