Leshoure on his way out?

Teams fear the Lions RBs. I didn't write that, Justin Rogers did proving that teams were afraid of the Lions running the ball. Facts are facts. Not kool aid. Facts.

Hes great at receiving jail time. So yeah, in his own way, he is still a great receiver.

Justin Rogers? :lmao: Well if he said so...

I must be seeing a different Bell than you guys. Outside of one play where he ran over the Redskins' D, and who couldn't, I haven't seen him do much.

Just admit you didnt watch the game then. 9 missed/broken tackles by Bell during the game. 5 while running the ball and 4 after catching the ball. I posted the complete slowlight on the slowlight thread. Maybe you should go watch it, since apparently all you saw was the 30 second highlight on espn.

He's very knowledgable and breaks down the film with screen shots. But your terrible perception of our run game will continue I'm sure based on your gut feeling of watching the game once in a drunken stupor.

I say positive things because the Lions do alot of positive things. Some people on these board only post negative things so I'll go ahead and post all the postive things. The Lions do have negatives but the haters on here have that covered so I'll stick with positive posts.

mitch doesn't drink. He's just naturally intoxicated.

Yes, LKP, but half of those were on one play. But this isn't about Bell, as a UFA anything is a big bad bonus. Its the 2nd round pick I worry about and why he's not playing if he's so damn good. And your "our RB are so damn good, a 2nd round pick is sitting the bench, great job Mayhew" doesn't fly.

Are you mad that the Lions might actually have depth at rb?

Riddick is a pass catcher, so with Bush not playing Riddick is the guy that sees more pt. Leshoure is still a great alternative if Bell goes down. If Bush is healthy and Bell goes down do you think Leshoure or Riddick will dress? Im thinking Leshoure

and my point all along has been selecting a high round running back that doesnt fit your offense....AT ALL!!!!!.....is stupid!!!! Im in the camp of picking any high round rb is stupid no matter what team you are (sans adrian peterson). Get an oline and stick my grandma back there and she can rush for more than 2.9 ypc.

Enjoy the fucking production from Bush and Bell. AT the time, 2nd round pick for Leshoure was the correct call. Stop with the hindsight unnecessary complaints.

Why do you guys keep on bringing up hindsight :hehe:

"When in hindsight he was a 2nd round pick but as time went by we realize he's a 6th round guy" -- Mayhew.

:ugh:

Agree with this. Leshore never seemed to fit really, did he?

Side note. If we trade Leshore, is your gramma in shape? We could really use a 4th option, just in case.

The call to draft him was made when he was worth a 2nd round pick. That will never change. He would have gone late 2nd even if Lions didn't take him. To Miami most likely.

And who the fuck cares if we used an extra 2nd. We have good RB production from the free agent and undrafted guy. Be happy with that. Complaints can't change the fact we took him and when we took him it was the RIGHT call at the time.

You sure about this? How do you know..it was a wasted pick if he doesn't play.

Based on what? I think I agree with the above guys who say this wasn't the right system for him..ever..at any time.

I'm very sure the Dolphins would take him over Thomas. it's a fact he had a 2nd round grade. Saying LeShoure doesn't fit is bogus too. Bell fits just fine and is the same type of back. You need both a big back and a speed guy.

I don't care if it's a "wasted" pick since it was the right call at the time and we get RB production from others and maybe him if he played if the others get hurt.

Great, as long as it was the right call at the time, woop de de do. Almost 60 years of crap and you're okay with "as long as it was the right call at the time".

That's all you can fucking do is make the right call at the right time. Mayhew has made plenty of even better right calls to make the Lions a good talented team. It's not like he rested all on the LeShoure pick. He got screwed with Best, Bell produced last year too and this year we had the resources available for Bush and the fact that Bush became a free agent. Last year there were way too many unknowns. And the Lions as an offense would have been fine if not for injuries and turnovers. They moved the ball considering all their long fields and poor game situations and for the RBs, poor run blocking in front of them.
