Let Suh Walk?

Stafford =
Reason why Lions missed playoffs and have a new staff... Just deal with it LKP...
Ok
Bad secondary was # 2 reason.

Plus then you have games like the Ravens when he did lead a comeback and Tucker kicks a miracle FG.

How much money is in Staffords pocket, how much is in Romos?

So because Romo has a dumb left tackle (holding when running out the clock) that makes Stafford more clutch?
So Luck beat stafford head to head, makes signifcatly less than stafford, Therefore he is a far superior QB?

so Matt shits all over the field at home (6.9 yards per attempt, 3 picks, 48.0 QB rating) and you pick that game to show how good he is????

Stafford is on top of the list!!! He's clutch

But Stafford scored a bunch of points against Indy. Not Staffords fault, Florence just lets a guy run right by him. If you give Romo a pass for a LT, I can give Stafford a pass in every loss. Bengals/Zona missed FGs, shanked punt, Durham fumble, Calvin drop for pick, drops against Steelers and botched fake FG. The list goes on and on.

Stafford is a good QB, makes alot less than all the other QBs who got paid. The QBS on their rookie deal is right place at the right time for those teams (needing a QB AFTER the new CBA.) And Luck will make a boat load more than Stafford very soon.

Tippped pass, bad route and pressure after a great 4th Quarter drive. Stafford was clutch in that game. That TD drive was beautiful and a championship type drive. Then Tucker hit a long one.

the bigger problem is getting those guys to live up to their contracts. Im fine with 3 guys making that much money. CJ and suh have played up to it. But when your qb is tieing up that much money and playing so poorly....your entire team feels the effects via not being able to sign quality depth. If youre going to make that much money you better have a peyton manningesque effect on your team.

Interesting chart on living up to your contract.

You are so funny! Stafford sucked that game! CLUTCH in that game????

And by the way. On new deal money, Stafford cap number would be 7 million right now. Luck is 6 million. Not a big difference. The old restrucutres is just something the Lions have to deal with because they needed cap space. And they are handling it beautifully given Stafford a cheap deal.

Clutch that drive. Huge drive. Should be talking about how great it was after the Lions made the playoffs. But then Tucker hit a lucky long one. He missed 90% of the time from that distance.

That's like giving credit to a guy that saves a dog from a house fire when he was the idiot that started the fire.

how many 2 min drives did we run clock last year? that's not clutch....and the coach said several times how we "don't want to put matt in that tough position." the opposite of clutch....

So its your opinion if the lions let Staffords rookie contact run out, he would of signed for 7-9 million a year?

If that's the case mayhew really blew it.

It also proves he is an average QB. Elite QBs get much more money.

Stafford is low for the next 3 years money wise compared to all QBs who got signed new contracts (Romo, Ryan,Brees,Flacco,Cutler and Rodgers).. And you do realize, well of course you don't which is why you are making the argument, but Staffords cap number would be higher in 2013 and 2014 if they didn't extend him and just let his "contract run" out. THEY GOT MORE CAP ROOM EXTENDING HIM. The restructures (which had to be made for cap room previosuly) make his cap number was 17 million and 15 milliont and not 9 million and 7 million. The 8 million added each year has nothing to do with Staffords market value. They made a good deal with Stafford. That's a fact.

Cowboys,Redskins,Browns,Vikings game 1, Ravens TD drive, at Bears all cltuch 4th Quarter drives.

Giants game he made one mistake and others made mistakes. Steelers game was because of drops. Bucs game, Stafford was making 4th Quarter plays but Durham fumbled and Calvin dropped one great throw into a pick.

His best drives were the Bucs(last drive) and Ravens game (2nd to last)

Giants game...one little mistake was the first INT. The HUGE mistake was the pick 6 that cost them the game.

Steelers game. 19-46 = 41%. Are you telling us that there were 10 drops in that game?

Bucs game. He had to make some 4th quarter plays. The odds were with him since he shit all over the field in the first 3 quarters. I mean 3 INTs and a TD to the other team on a pick 6! Also, I think that is the game where the "good" Lion's secondary made rookie M Glennon and T Underwood look like All Pros!

Ravens game. He had one good drive but sucked dick the entire rest of the game. He was 6-8 for 81 yards and a TD on that drive. That means he was 12-26 154 yards and 3 INTs on the other drives. That is a QB rating of 25.6!

His worst games were at the end of the year. A Clutch QB would have found a way to get them a few wins vs. some of the worst teams in the NFL.

Ravens game, three good drives, one of them clutch in the 4th.

Bucs game talking about his 4th Quarter. Which was good. Houston was hurt, Underwood took advantage.

Giants game, was a great play by Tuck and just a little outside off Faurias hands. But the comeback was the running game and Ross.

Steelers games a ton of drops, especially the 4th when Stafford was making plays. Riddick and Ross were big ones before the pick to Calvin. Plus 27 points and FG drive (fake stop) should be enough on the road.
