Let Suh Walk?

Cowboys,Redskins,Browns,Vikings game 1, Ravens TD drive, at Bears all cltuch 4th Quarter drives.

Giants game he made one mistake and others made mistakes. Steelers game was because of drops. Bucs game, Stafford was making 4th Quarter plays but Durham fumbled and Calvin dropped one great throw into a pick.

His best drives were the Bucs(last drive) and Ravens game (2nd to last)

When your best drives are in 2 games you lose lol....I dunno what to tell you. you cant say stafford was clutch this year with how many 4th qtrs we pissed the game away in....i dont care how many irrelevant stats you show. When the other team scores more than you to end the game thats the opposite of clutch lol.

You cant be clutch and lose the game lol...its an oxymoron...it just cant happen lol.

also, you can't be considered clutch when your shitty play was the reason the team was put in the bad situation.

Down the stretch the Lions went 1-6 while playing some pretty shitty teams. Stafford had some of his worst games during that stretch. That isn't clutch!

Yes you can play clutch and then have something else mess it up for you. Those were clutch drives. Cowboys and Bears were pretty great too and Redksins game.

but if you play shitty and are a big part of the reason you are behind in the first place you don't deserve any credit. Like I said earlier...You don't get credit for saving a dog from a house fire if you are the dumbass that caught the house on fire in the first place!

A great drive doesn't make you clutch. LKP definition of clutch is the definition of inconsistent to everyone else.

Clutch would mean he scored again and won. Losing in the 4th over and over makes you a goat...and not the good kind lol.

Stafford was not the reason we lost in the 4th against Ravens and Bucs or even Steelers. He was the only one making plays in the 4th. On top of Cowboys,Bears,Redskins,Browns, Vikings game games. Plus crushed Bears and Packers at home.

Giants game he didn't do his part or the at Vikings game (without Calvin and Pettigrew). at Philly was a snow bowl.

Our point is that he was not making plays early in those games. He was shit in those games outside a few drives. Just like he was mostly good in the first 9 games of the season and mostly played like dog shit over the final 7 games. Consistancy is what is needed out of the QB.

3-4 drives is between 21-28 points. That is enough in this league. Stafford has to do it the hard way. He doesn't get the turnover help(only 22 on the season), he doesn't get much WR 2 or 3 help and very little TE separation. Calvin is a great WR but his windows are tight too with double and triple coverage (9 picks). Give Stafford 34 turnovers, he returns 41 TDs even with basically no run game most of the season.

Stafford moves the ball and scores points well (29 passing TDs plus 2 rushing), plus a big help setting up 15 rushing TDs. We'll see if the coaching staff (and maybe less tipped balls/pressure and more WR separation) can shave the ints down to 14 or less given the high number of attempts.

how about better mechanics and better decision making? Those are his two biggest weaknesses!

His decision making is fine. He's one of the smartest QBs in the league. Mechanics he can make any throw. Great arm. The footwork will get work but it wasn't the only reason he threw 19 picks or had 58.5% comp. High attempts, high drops, some tips, some bad WR separation and some pressure were big reasons too on top of the footwork (on certain throws).

He's a franchise QB with loads of talent. They'll work on the footwork but the team has to help him out more. Get him a number 2 WR that can get separation (or a TE) and more turnovers by the defense or at the very least 3% less drops.

He may be smart but he certainly does some stupid shit on the football field. His decision making is poor IMO. He has a strong arm but he depends on it too much throwing off balance and off the wrong foot. He misses WAY too many wide open guys for a "franchise" QB.

He is a the LION'S franchise QB but so far he has been just a slightly above average NFL QB.

A great QB doesn't need great talent around him....he elevates the players he is given. HE has CJ...all he should need other than that is a few average WRs. Guys like Nate should be enough if he is really great. The problem is that he has not been great. He has had a few great moments, a few great games but more often than not he is slightly above average and too often he is shitty.

Durham and Ogletree can't be elevated. They are junk. Burleson produced but missed 7 games. 9% drop rate is huge. 12 fumbles by non QBs is 12 lost opporutnities. Pettigrew produces but has limited speed. You can't elevate his speed.

Manning had Wayne and Harrison and Clark and decent run game. Brady Moss and Welker but had a great defense early in his career when he just had Branch and won a ton of Super bowls. Brees has Colston (plus 1sts using Meachem and Henderson), Graham(recently) and a decent run game. Plus Bush early in his career. Romo has Bryant and Witten and Austin(earlier in his career) and now Murray at RB.

Calvin(doubles and triple teams on him) and ?? is not enough. Detroit finally got Stafford a solid run game in 2013 at least. The year Brees won the Super Bowl. 39 turnovers forced by the Saints defense. 34 turnovers forced for Stafford in 2011, 41 TDs and playoffs.

Wasn't his 4th qtr rating the worst in the nfl in the 4th qtr?

Romo elevated ogletrees production....stafford sunk his battleship...along with ruining mike thomas' career and helping with being a perennial league leader in drops.

You pick out the best years for the guys you are using. Let's look at some of the QBs that out performed Stafford THIS past year and what they had to work with.

Ryan. Lost Jones and White is a shell of himself.
Rivers - rookie WR and a bunch of garbage.
Brees - J Gramm, washed up Colston and garbage.
Brady - a few games with Gronk and garbage.
Cam Newton - A Sr. citizen in Steve Smith and garbage
Wilson - Baldwin & Golden Tate???
Big Ben - Brown and nobody else of note

It was also 1st at the beginning of the season through the Dallas game...and then he started throwing a bunch of int's in the 2nd half of the year. I don't know where his 4th quarter QB rating finished.

First of all Mike Thomas ruined Mike Thomas' career. If you ever thought he was a "good" WR, then you were gravely mistaken. And second of all Romo REALLY elevated Olgetrees production huh? You're an idiot. His best season as a Cowboy was 32 rec 436 yards and 4 touchdowns. Romo made that dude a pro bowler huh? The guy got cut from the TAMPA BAY BUCS before we picked him up for god sakes. He was never going to be ANYTHING. Some of your comments are so off base.
