Let Suh Walk?

First of all Mike Thomas ruined Mike Thomas' career. If you ever thought he was a "good" WR, then you were gravely mistaken. And second of all Romo REALLY elevated Olgetrees production huh? You're an idiot. His best season as a Cowboy was 32 rec 436 yards and 4 touchdowns. Romo made that dude a pro bowler huh? The guy got cut from the TAMPA BAY BUCS before we picked him up for god sakes. He was never going to be ANYTHING. Some of your comments are so off base.

I never thought Thomas was good....mayhew thought Thomas was good and pissed away a mid round pick on him. Ive criticized mayhew for the trade several times but you homers keep telling me mayhew is awesome....so which is it?

I was mistaken on ogletree at dallas....I thought someone stated he had a double digit td year for dallas on here.....that's the last time I take someones word for it lol. SO ya....he was never anything.....and Stafford elevated him to nothing. Way to go Stafford.

It was me. I was thinking of Laurent Robinson. 7 TDs in 4 weeks in 2011, 11 total tds with Romo, now on the scrap heap. Miles Austin and Kevin Ogletree took over in 2012 and Romo got 10 TDs out of them in 2012. If you think we got Megatron and junk name another wideout other than Dez on the Cowboys, Austin played in two games this year. I saw them play on person and I can't name three, I know the have some Welker rip off.

Outside of 2011 Romo has been the better qb and it's not close. He's worked with just as much garbage and a crappy run game as well.

Terrance Williams, a 3rd round draft pick, performed very well for the Cowboys as well as my fantasy team. They also have a guy by the name of JASON FREAKING WITTEN. I think he MIGHT be a little better than Pett and Fauria. Not to mention Dez was healthy all season. I'm not saying Romo hasn't been better than Stafford the past 2 years, yet how many more playoff wins does Romo have than Staff? And idk about you, but I think DeMarco Murray was a hell of a star 2 years ago, and not to bad after dealing with injuries last season....

So you are saying Mayhew sucks and we aren't nearly as talented as the Cowboys. Okay I'll eat crow.

I wanted Mayhew gone along with the Schwartz. I think our offense rivals if not beats the talent the Cowboys put on the field every year, but it just seems Romo and co. overcome injuries, adversity, and what not better than we do.

We're on the same page. But if you think we are more talented on offense than the Cowboys you have to give the edge to Romo. No matter who steps in at that number 2 wideout spot Romo gets something out of them, whether it is Austin, Crayton, Robinson, Austin/Ogletree, or this year Williams *who was on your fantasy team or its possible you may not have known him. It pains me to say it but I'd rather have Romo and I was the guy in 2011 arguing with our old resident Cowboys fan Beez saying just the opposite.

Anyone can see that the whole organization has gone all in on fixing Stafford. If they took LKP's stance we wouldn't have Caldwell and Lombardi. If he plays like 2011 or even the first half of 2013 we can win especially if we improve in other areas. If he plays like 2012 or the second half of 2013 we're sunk.

Yeah we are for sure on the same page except I over value Stafford for the most part. I really think he is more of the 2011 beginning of the season QB rather than the INT machine inaccurate passer that he was at the end of the season. We shall see next season after a LONG off season in which we must improve in areas if we want to compete for this division.

improve WHILE learning a new system. I wasn't a fan of the Caldwell hire but I like what he did with some of his assistants. Hopefully they can help Stafford or were re re re re building.

Heres my issue with Stafford:

defensively we played well enough to win a lot of games
best wr in the game
gave up very few sacks
had our first 1000 yd rusher in forever
our rb tandem was one of the best in the league at total yds from scrimmage
and were in a division where 2 franchise qb goes down for multiple games

with that list a mediocre qb should have gotten us more than 7 wins. So what is Staffords value, really?

Now i know why i take a breather from this board. Arguing over the same old fn shit lol.

You missed
12 fumbles by non QBs
only 22 turnovers forced
3 % drop rate higher than the league average
Kris Durham playing way too much due to injury and second round insanity by Young
Calvin and Bush missing games in 2 separate losses each (4 total)

Life was hard for Stafford, not easy. Sacks low, pressure allowed still around normal for the league. Hurries and hits hurt the accuracy. Sacks don't hurt the accuracy.

You're slipping LKP, you forgot tipped balls.

Some of it is new

They were arguing over Glover Quin all day yesterday, lol

Let me guess. Hughes thought Mayhew was an idiot for signing him and that Quin is shit and LKP was backing up Mayhew and saying Quin is a solid player?

Give Stafford a number 2 WR or TE with more separation and he's 30 TDs and 13 picks or less with much better comp %. Or give him 30 turnovers from his defense.

Better coaching will help too. Just one of many ways to improve.

Something like that

It's what most "debates" on this board boil down to

said it was a good signing and Gunther is clueless and used him wrong....which affected his performance. A secondary coach as a d cord should help him get back to him being an impact player like he was in Houston.

Allowed 0 TDs, 30 QB rating and had 3 picks. Plenty of impact. Rarely late in coverage. Gunther used him just fine. 10th best in the league.
