Let Suh Walk?

Allowed 0 TDs, 30 QB rating and had 3 picks. Plenty of impact. Rarely late in coverage. Gunther used him just fine. 10th best in the league.

when you miss the tackle and he walks into the endzone....that means you gave up the TD. Gunther used him on an island in coverage way too much. Hes not a very good FS in coverage and should be used more as a "strong safety" imo. If he gave up a 30 qb rating then hes a HOFer....your numbers are inaccurate and I treid to explain to you why they are inaccurate yesterday but you are too stubborn lol.

Let him walk. The Ford's need to make more money. Besides, they are not going to win anything with this current regime at the helm.

My numbers are not inaccurate. They are facts. Quin is excellent in coverage. He used to be a CB his first 2 years in the league. His speciality is coverage.

Slay allowed the intial completion and most of the long gain on the slant. That Quin miss was way way down the field. Slay's fault.

Quin allowed 0 coverage TDs. That is a fact. Missed tackles on a few after a CB messed up way worse.

My stats are correct and I knew the play by heart. More than you guys can say.

Just calmmmmmmm down. Both of our safeties had tackling problems last season. Like we would just bounce right off dudes.

Glover Quin had 9 miss tackles last season. Middle of the pack. Kam Chancellor had 8 by the way.

Delmas had 13. TJ Ward 13. Goldson 15. Earl Thoms 14 missed. Polamalu 10.

Seattle safties 22 combined missed. Detroit 22 combined missed takcles.

Guess we just had far bigger impacting tackles than say a team like Seattle a la the T. Williams td.

Well Slay got burnt. Not Quin's fault in a wide open field. Sherman and Maxwell/Browner don't get burnt like that. They can cover up missed tackles with tighter coverage.

everyones awesome....we lost 9 games cause of luck, wind and snow. duh...

Not everyone. Slay had rookie CB problems, Houston had a down year but can get back to 2010-2012 form (some was injury too on 2 deep TDs allowed). Bush drops and fumble issues but his talent gets us explosive plays and efficient running. Jones got hurt. Fairley is inconsistent but talented.

3 games the run defense didn't show up (at GB, at Min, at Phi). That cost Detroit desptie good overall run D season.

Missed/Blocked FGs cost them 2 games.

22 turnovers forced isn't enough. LBs/safeties did their part (13 picks), CBS did not with only 2 picks (both Houston). 34 was good in 2011. Get back there.

Hits and hurries were very good but more sacks would be nice. The talent is there for that for sure though. Ansah and Taylor should get better. Jones returns. Can Fairley turn the corner? Maybe better coverage helps that too giving more time (Detroit did have a ton of hurries). Hurries turn to sack or picks with better coverage.

9% drop rate sucks and Durham playing so much due to others injuries. And Burleson missing 7 games, Broyles 8, Pettigrew 2, Calvin 2 plus half of the Giants. Think about this, 2011 Calvin,Burleson,Young and Pettigrew played every game as did the Oline. Wrs 1-3 and TE and Stafford had 41 TDs and 63.5%. Bunch of injuries, Stafford's numbers suffer.

Good overall defense but when they got beat, sometimes it was long costly ones. Can Houston and Slay and Bentely fix that. Houston has shown in the past and the other 2 are young.

Plus we get another draft and free agency to add talent.

We'll see if we play in a blizzard next year, go for a costly fake FG, have a 61 yarder kicked on us, have 2 blocked FGs in close losses and have terrible fumbler recovery rates on offense and defense. Luck wasn't the only reason but it played a part.

What are these factual statements based on? Only times he was lined up in man coverage? How many times was that?

Where are these stats pulled from?

Profootball focus. Based on his coverage of guys, including doubles with CBs and bad angles. When a CB allows the catch, it's the CBs fault. It's a coverage stat, not a missed tackle stat. I gave that (quin was average in that department). It's based on every pass play. 0 times was he at fault because of coverage. There are missed tackles that helped cause TDs but the majority of blame goes to the CBS on those 2 plays.

Bush 10, Bell 6 Riddick 1, Calvin 10, Durham 10, Burleson 4, Edwards 1, Ross 2, Broyles 3, Fauria 1, Dickerson 2, Scheffler 3, Pettigrew 5

58 drops.
