My argument is the one providing the factual evidence....that our draft picks over the last 3 years have produced very little and we suck. Both arguments are very easy to proove. 0-6, worst in the division on offense, worst in the division on defense, 4 wins all year. None of it is opinion. Its all backed by numbers. LKPs idea of provable factual data is "broyles will be good someday." or a personal favorite is still when he said we SHOULD HAVE been 9-3 to start 2012'. provable BWAHAhahahaha, factual LMAO....my ass.

More hyperbole that's already been debunked by posters (mainly LKP) who have provided actual, provable conclusions rather than just being a results oriented sandy vag. Also I will once again post this for you. This is scientific data (something provable) over a relatively large sample (meaning it holds actual water) and not just a random opinion (something unprovable which holds zero water). Please note that it shows anything past the 4th round is basically just throwing darts and anytime you can move a 4th or later for a person who you know can make an impact, you immediately pull the trigger based on provable data (like Mayhew has done with Houston, Williams, LoJack, Sims, Scheffler, Thomas, Hill, etc.)

Once they make dumb decisions they make dumber decisions that make the situation even worse. Ever since hes punched delmas during practice hes cared for nothing but himself and the rest of the team hasnt cared much for him. We keep giving him more chances but at this point nobody really wants him there. Its a no win situation....

If someone told me mayhew took the last 2 years off I wouldn't be completely shocked. I gave him credit when he found gems like Houston and Sims via trade....but that was forever ago! When your FA claims to fame are KVB, Nate Burleson and Tulloch over your entire tenure....welp....call me whatever the fuck you want but I just think that's downright sad. Compile that with poor draft after poor draft when most years youre picking in the top half of the draft....its really not acceptable in my eyes. You guys can defend him all you want...and I give you a world of credit to carry the argument on this long when the FACTS are so clear....he doesn't draft well....he doesn't really do very well in FA....and our team is a 4 win team with 0 wins in the division. People have been fired for much much less.

Be happy about it you say? Things change every year...ill be happy when they turn into positive results. In order to do that you have to be competitive within your own division. I cant imagine how many changes need to happen to make me feel positive about facing gb min and chi twice each next year. We'll see how the offseason goes but there needs to be soooo many signings on the defense its slightly ridiculous. If Xander/mayhew/shack can get it done....more power to them.

Who does well in FA? Not too many teams do by the way. When a player is great, they usually tend to stay with the team that drafted him. Seriously, name me some teams that hit on FA's. there's maybe a couple but noine that truly stick out besides Moss a few years back with NE.

I'm not here saying Mayhew is a genius because he isn't, but you rip on the guy too much. He has turned this team around (somewhat) when the keys were handed to him. He inherited a fn trainwreck that Millen destroyed. He has hit on some FAs and draft picks, but has also failed. NOBODY is perfect in the NFL. Getting players like Tulloch, KVB, Houston and Burleson were big time assets and NEEDS on this football team. Not world beaters but solid football players who can make your team better and at the time they did make us better. Bottomline, superstars don't usually jump ship and go to another team.

Injuries fn destroyed this team. Players need to stay healthy to succeed. The blame is not all on Mayhew.

not a whole lot you can do in FA when you are in salary cap hell.....biggest mistake Mayhew made was not finding a taker for Cliff Avril then beoing handcuffed into using the tag on him and losing 10+ million in $$$$ that could have and should have been spent elsewhere.

cap isn't moving anywhere for another year or 2 and both Stafford and Suh have to be dealt with as well as 6 or 7 others on defense....Martys fucked.
