Yes please

Yep. No doubt. Stupid win vs GB. They have the game of the year when it doesn't count any more.. Rest of the year is all shit.

They weren't getting him at 5 either. The Green Bay win meant nothing. Bosa, Q. Williams, Allen ....top 3 off the board anyways. Obviously still the combine and pro days left to go but that's your top 3. Stop bitching about everything...

Exactly, the GB win meant nothing. So the guys you may have wanted at 5, 6, or 7 ain't happening. Think Greedy would have looked great opposite Slay? Not happening. How about Williams maybe? Nope. Losing three spots is HUGE in this draft. It was pointless to win, and it's going to cause them to potentially miss out an a game changer and settle for someone on the next tier.

Previous 4 players taken with the #8 pick:

Roquan Smith - LB - Georgia
Christian McCaffrey - RB - Stanford
Jack Conklin - T - Michigan State
Vic Beasley - LB - Clemson

While I agree that picking 5 is obviously better and the GB win was meaningless, I don't agree with the idea that picking at 8 means we can't get a game changer. As always, the combine will completely change things. Some of these guys being mentioned as unobtainable could very well fall. It happens every year.

Right, but the Lions will not be (likely) drafting an LB, T, or RB. So, knowing that the Lions have a pretty specific focus on defense, dropping three spots hurts your possibility of finding a stud AT THAT POSITION. If we knew they'd just do BPA, then dropping 3 would not matter all that much.

Losing 3 spots wasn't huge lol. Greedy could very well be there. You're so fucking paranoid it's frightening. We pick 8th, genius and you're calling our pick "next tier"? Wtf are you smoking?! Lol. We'll be looking at a potentially great player at 8. Chill the fuck out...

You don't think the Lions are looking at LB at #8?? Lmao. Christian Jones anyone?!?! He needs to go!!! LB is a definite possibility...
