Good article on how good the Lions offense was. They moved the ball very well, just had terrible starting field position (lack of defensive turnovers) and lack of time but had long drives eating clock of their own.


I can't wait for healthy Abdullah, Riddick and Stafford back. Improved Oline. Lions will have a very potent offense. 27-30 PPG in play

Way too many weapons in the red zone they can't convert in? If we have too many weapons and can't put up points maybe we should cut Stafford today??

Stafford is middle of the pack in Red Zone efficiency. Now, is that because he's not a good QB, or because his receivers aren't very good. You can't have it both ways?

I would suspect some of that is 1st and goal becomes 3rd and goal because we can't run the ball and they (defense) know now to look to the pass.. And regardless of his completion % he's not Joe accurate. And apparently no big target.

Lions were penalized in the redzone on 6 drives the entire year. 4 of the 6 we scored a TD on. We were actually better in the redzone when we did have a penalty called on us.
