Look at this Gem

This thread cracks me up.

Seriously, yes if the lions clean up everything, have bounces go their way, and stay 100% healthy they can make the playoffs.

LKP assumes only luck and players improve for the
Lions. Does not ever assume other tes will improve.

Green Bay is better than us assuming both teams are 100% healthy.

So that takes the lions out of the division title. That leaves two wild card positions
SF and Seattle are both better than the lions. There goes one of the wild cards.

Saints are better than the lions. 100% healthy falcons could be better than the lions. Panthers could be better. Giants, eagles or Cowboys could be better.

Lions are middle of the pack in the NFC. They need a lot of breaks toake the playoffs.

The Lions are better than GB. GB is a shit team with Rodgers to save them. And GB lost their starting center, their safeties and ILB suck, DEs unproven and they lost two weapons in Finley and Jones.

I don't care about all QBS. I care about Stafford. And with that many attempts, 12 ints his fault only is fine. Not all QBs have 7 ints on others. Especially given how well he moves the ball and scores points. He is a good QB.

first you say he is excellent
then you say he is very good
now he is good

you only have one more step to come down to reality with Stafford. One more step down to "above average" and you will be accurate.

He's excellent/very good. Same thing. Moves the ball well despite WR injuries and scores alot of points without turnover help. Given his attempts that are his fault are fine but can always be tweaked.

Yep. Rodgers makes them better than the Lions. That is what elite QBs do, they make the team and players better.

Good to know that even if he lions lose a safety, two of Staffords weapons and an Olineman this year you won't use that as an excuse if they miss the playoffs. Since the lions would still be more or as talented as the packers.

They don't play the Packers 16 times.

Not the point. Since Lions are significantly better at most roster positions they should be able to overcome a few injuries to starters and still take the division.
