Honest question. Are you more mad about the fact there was a face mask, compared to the fact they had him pinned for a five yard loss and forgot how to pursue?

Well, this cannot be proven for if the facemask had not occurred and Samuels was tackled for a 5 yard loss, then we might have seen a different result. Now if the facemask had not occurred and Samuels still rushed around the end to set up 4th and 1, then I would be very upset at their inability to pursue and tackle.

What is Purer Michigan than to see you guys bitching about the refs a couple years and a couple of beatings after the fact? Every time I grow weary of this site I come across stuff like this and realize it?s still too good to quit.

but the real question is, although i don't know why I'm asking, was this double OT game where a questionable spot led to OSU victory, competitive?

Michigan kicked their ass for three quarters. Then the refs stepped in and put a stop to it. Then the ref smacks the ass of OSU player was ?we got this?.

What happened to "an enthusiasm unknown to mankind?"

I heard his dad had a heart attack. How long ago was that? Perhaps that has tempered his enthusiasm.

Just went and checked; April 2016.

His youngest son was also born way premature; as far as I know he's now doing fine, but there's that as well.

I'm just going by general perception here, but it seemed like the 2017 season kinda took the wind out of Harbaugh's sails a bit. He wasn't the same guy that year as he was in 2016.

The fumbles are not the coaches fault. The players that have fumbled need to step up and take some responsibility. Even though Mason hadn't carried the ball the previous couple of games, you don't fumble inside the 5. You just don't! You wrap the ball up. Somebody needs to get in the ball handlers faces and get their minds right.

Mason's fumble reminds me of an embarrassing story from my high school playing days. I played QB and RDE. Our D forced a fumble and we quickly switched to offense. I forgot to take off my forearm pad (picture mid-70's Michigan D-linemen) on my left arm and on the first play as I was running the ball, I got hit and the pad spun around my arm and the ball came popping out. Coach asked what the hell happened. After I explained, he calmed down and said, "You won't forget next time, will you?"

That seems a reach. Never stopped Bo Schembechler.

Not saying it is the reason, just an observation. Not everyone is affected the same by life's tragedies. My father's, and subsequent mother's deaths did not affect me nearly as much as I have seen others affected by losing those close to them.

You?re an idiot.

I?m still pissed off about 1973.

Suck my balls.
