May 15, 2021: Tigers 9 - Cubs 8 (10 innings). Cabrera continues to climb.
Miguel Cabrera's seventh-inning single not only tied the game, it marked hit No. 2,881 of his career. With the knock, Cabrera passed Hall of Famer Frankie Frisch for 42nd on the all-time list.

May 16: Cubs 5 - Tigers 1 -- Miguel Cabrera racking up the hits.
Miguel Cabrera's two-hit game Sunday was his fifth multihit effort in his past eight games. It also pushed his career hit total to 2,883. His next hit will tie him with Hall of Famer Zack Wheat for No. 41 on the MLB all-time list.

Miggy now has 2,887 career hits, moving him into sole possession of 41st place on MLB?s all-time list. Career homers Nos. 490 and 491 kept Cabrera climbing that career chart as well, and he sits two round-trippers shy of tying Fred McGriff and Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig for 28th on that list.

It's his 42nd career multi-homer game (last, 9/23/2020 at MIN) and his sixth career grand slam (last, 6/4/2019 vs. TB).

Miggy owns the most career hits (122) and RBIs (85) at Kauffman Stadium among active hitters, and is second in extra-base hits (21).

The grand slam pushed him past Jim Thome to 23rd on MLB?s all-time extra-base-hits list.

In honor of Miguel Cabrera becoming the All-Time Venezuelan-Born Hits leader tonight, I have created an interactive timeline detailing the Venezuelan-Born hit leaders since the debut of ?lex Carrasquel in 1939.
Check out and see all of the Venezuelan greats in MLB history.

That was a cool timeline. Its also quite the accomplishment.

Finally found what I had been looking for....

Miguel Cabrera's performance Friday night marked his 33rd multi-homer game in a Tigers uniform, breaking a tie with Hank Greenberg for the most multi-homer games in franchise history.

June 1, 2021: The double by Cabrera was his 400th as a Tiger and the 583rd of his career, tying Robin Yount for 21st on the all-time list.
Cabrera is the eighth player to hit 400 doubles in a Tigers? uniform, joining Ty Cobb (665), Charlie Gehringer (574), Harry Heilmann (499), Al Kaline (498), Lou Whitaker (420), Alan Trammell (412) and Sam Crawford (405).

Miguel Cabrera is now 68-for-185 (.368) with the bases loaded in his career. His 18 bases-loaded doubles is tied with Tino Martinez for 9th all time.

June 10, 2021: Miguel Cabrera's double in the 1st inning is his 1,093rd career extra-base hit, tying him with Dave Winfield for 22nd in MLB history.
