MSU basektball recruiting

Come on S...
That is a little disingenuous for what JB has done at Michigan.. JB may be a tad different from Izzo and Coach K.
But he has turned Michigan around and into a winning program again... Plus he has put a few guys into the
NBA also the last few years...

2007–08 Michigan 10–22 5–13 T–9th
2008–09 Michigan 21–14 9–9 T–7th NCAA Second Round
2009–10 Michigan 15–17 7–11 T–7th
2010–11 Michigan 21–14 9–9 T–4th NCAA Third Round
2011–12 Michigan 24–10 13–5 T–1st NCAA Second Round
2012–13 Michigan 31–8 12–6 T–4th NCAA Runner-up
2013–14 Michigan 28–9 15–3 1st NCAA Elite Eight
2014–15 Michigan 13–11...

Things have turned around nicely for you actually. I suppose my statement is directed at the nerdy belittlers I see time and time again on the UM board (not you, I appreciate your posts). Strangely, I see 5 times more there than I do here. I suppose due to the sheer number of posters there as opposed to here there will be more but it seems quite rare here honestly. My prior post is the type of weak bable I see there all the time, so 1-2 times a year ill post some retaliation. I do think a kid like this would have Duke or MSU on his list first. JB has taken UM from the depths of hell to competitive again. Actually, I expect we will lose in AA the next game and thats without your 2 best players.

Thanks !!!!
Well I am worried a tad.... JB has not been able to double down on his great classes from the last few years with some other top classes.. I would have no problem having a kid I knew play for any of the above coaches... Now I know John Calipari keeps getting all the guys it seems but you would think a few would go to Michigan and or MSU just to get more playing time and just as much exposure...

Ive been frothing at the mouth about Calipari for a few years now, I honestly dont know how he gets away with it. The good thing is (for him) if he is investigated he will pack his bags and go to another school, repeat. The University handles the burden of a scandle while dirtbags like Calipari smirk and move on.

I'm hearing that Jamal Murray may reclassify to 2015 and that oregon and msu lead

Another Canadian guy...ughhhh.

I was thinking the same thing, but each player is different with different goals and motivations.

It's interesting that we did offer him a scholarship and we're still very much in it for Biggie Swanigain, maybe we're anticipating some roster attrition

David Thomas worked out pretty nicely...he wasn't a super star but solid and a rebounding machine - out-rebounded Antonio Smith who was twice his size.

There are exceptions.Unless its got a "Andrew Wiggins" label on it im skeptical.

He visited on the 21st. Im not getting my hopes up because its between us and Kentucky as of right now. The "crystal ball" crew has us at an 80% chance.

Michigan State 80% Kentucky 10% Louisville 5% Arizona 5%

Crystal Ball crew is inaccurate for basketball and this is a two school race, MSU and Duke with MSU still leading.

Izzo really recruiting AL small forwar Josh Langford hard, been down to see him several times this season.

Has the crystal ball crew been wrong on a good number of favorites that youve seen? Didnt know about it until this year. Wouldnt it be nice to get Langford, Swanigan and Brian bowen for 17? :) >:D

ESPN shows Swanigan and Langford both as "Considering" MSU. I haven't seen any insider articles naming a favorite among the teams they are considering, though it does show Swanigan has already visited Kentucky and Arizona. According to ESPN Swanigan has not visited MSU.

he's visited a bunch, he was up for the Michigan game

Izzo was in Muskegon Tuesday night to watch Deyonta. Said he flew back from watching Langford Monday night. Flight from Alabama in the morning, an afternoon practice with the team, flight to Muskegon to watch a committ and then a flight back to Lansing after the game.

Just your average Tuesday....lol
