My way too early yardage prediction thread

And both offenses looked lost with Rodgers and CJ out...

You're getting a bit homer in you, bud. Lost, sure. But It's like losing Staff, as much as I think he's struggled, and getting replaced by Orvlosky. And CJ missed less games than Rodgers..and yes that does matter.

Jordy was not out and jones was 2 games. They played shit pass defenses when they were out too. There is comparing in the lions 7 losses especially at pit, giants and at Minnesota injuries. Week 5 Green Bay was much healthier than Detroit

calvin was only out 2 games....and by that time we already lost the division....

Calvin was limited against giants and browns too. Lions had massive other injuries against Pittsburgh Vikings and giants too. More injured than ravens, eagles and that week 5 game missing Calvin and burleson was for the division in hindsight. You could say Calvin was taken out of game by blizzard too

the entire offense was taken out of the game by bell and bush's butterfingers.....you didn't see the eagles turning the ball over did you? Hence....the lions have less talent than the eagles....especially in the snow.

...not to mention youre completely contradicting yourself. You cant say we have a talented team if when calvin goes down for 2 games that ends our season lol. losing your top WR for 2 games should mean Stafford gets other people involved and you beat the other team....instead we let some no name douche rb from min run all over us and we score a big fat 0 points in the first half of the min game. Staff just isn't a very good qb...he makes no one better....not a single person.

You must not have watched. Bush got hurt in war ups and didn't play. Bell moved the ball but fumbled in the eagles redzone in the highest point of the blizzard twice. Eagles never had the ball that much in the heavy snow in the first half

I can. Wasn't just Calvin. It was Calvin/burleson and waddle at Green Bay and then Calvin/pettigrew/waddle/broyles at minnesota.

Stafford threw no picks and had 92 rating in those games. No run game and we uncharacteristically gave up 5 sacks each in both those games. Usually we give up a shade under one sack a game. Defense did a solid and very good job in those games. Lots of talent still

Gb only scored their lone td due to Houston's bum hamstring and Vikings got a big punt return to set up very short field for last td

you've resorted to using a 3rd string UDFA tackle being injured and a 5th string wr that's been injured his entire career....wow....reeeeeeeeeaaaaaach.

Homer? How so? The whole fn offense revolves around Calvin. And you saw the circis act in GB when Rodgers was out. How am i being a homer? lol

Because they still managed to win the division. And with Rodgers missing more games it means circus vs circus they still got it done..and I don't care how good Calvin is he isn't no QB. He doesn't mean as much and if the team is focused around him the team is fk'd.

The only reason the Packers won the divison is because they played a bunch of injured teams at the right team. Falcons late in the season, Vikings, Lions Week 5 withou Calvin/Burleson/Waddle, Romo meltdown in a game Cowboys were dominating. 2 less wins with Flynn and 1 less tie with Flynn and one less win with Rodgers. Packers 5-11 really

Lmfao. Calvin means just as much to the Lions as Rodgers does to the Packers. You're delusional to think otherwise. Burleson/Durham become #1's when CJ was down!! Are you fn kidding me?! lol

You can't possibly believe that.

Are you fkn kidding me? A WR means as a much as one of the best QB in the league? :lmao:

Bush 700 yards
Tate 600 yards (drop % is highest of career)
Pettigrew 400 yards
Ebron 800 yards
Calvin 1200 yards (injured 3 games)
Durham Broyles Ross Jones 600 yards
Bell 400 yards

So 4,700 yards 35 tds and 10 picks. 12-4 record for Detroit. Sounds good
