My way too early yardage prediction thread

I hear violins playing again. watch all the second half's when they were in the driver seat. he failed big time. the team failed but he was the master choker. watch them, you will see. I dvr'd all of them and its blatently apparent. there were some drops for sure but ample opportunities to overcome.

When he threw a true game winning TD in the Ravens game.
When he was throwing darts against Pittsburgh but the WRS couldn't hold onto them and his coach called a fake FG.
When he had the GW TDs against the Cowboys, Bears and Redskins
When he put 40 points up against packers/Bears at home
When he brough us back against at the Vikings with no Calvin/Pettigirew for a 13-7 lead late that was lost due to a punt return
When he threw a strike to Calvin under pressure to put the Lion inside the 5 against Bucs but Calvin dropped it and it went into the Bucs hands.

Stafford is great late in games.

Not in the playoff run when they needed him most. After game 8, he choked big time and you know it.

Last season:

4th quarter within 7 points his passer rating is 74.2
Last 2 minutes of a 1/2 1 TD, 5 INTs with a passer rating of 48.1

CHOKE!!!

The ints aren't all his fault. Calvin pick for instance. That changes the rating too. Couldn't pass at Philly. Context shows he didn't choke.

Many of those descriptions were the last 8. We need him most every game. And he delivered to put us in first place most of the year.

It's funny, because in the blizzard bowl, Philly only had 1 ball fumbled (and recovered). Could have sworn they played in the same conditions? Unless when they played, the half that the Lions were on was a hurricane, and the part where Philly was on was sunshine? Odd.

Stafford is great late in games.....FAIL!!!!!!#

The context shows he was. Drop rate, ints not his fault, late TD against Ravens, blizzard.

You fail at knowing what actually happened.

Blizzard? So that's why he failed yet the opposing QB lit us up.

Actually they didn't play in the same conditions. Lions were moving the ball most of the first half and dominated the time of possesion but had a bunch of fumbles in the heart of the blizzard (first half). Most of the fumbles occured then (and most recovered) and Bell lost two in the redzone. Eagles had more TOP in second half. But thanks for proving you didn't really watch the game or don't remember it.

here are the Lion's drives in the first 1/2 (plays, yards, result)

3,7,punt
10,44,fumble
8,50,fumble
3,0,punt
5,20,TD
3,4,punt
3,5,end of 1/2

I do remember hearing that the Eagles switched to a longer cleat at halftime, the Lions didn't, because they didn't bring any lol. That game was ridiculous. I almost quit watching the first time Stafford threw the ball. Staffords fastball died in midair. Everybody got a pass for the way that game turned out imo, besides the crew that is responsible for not bringing a longer set of cleats.

That's because Philadelphia is a real organization, the Lions just go out there and wing it.

that 10 and 8 play drive dominated the TOP. Remember these are mostly runs due to the conditions. Again context.

The excuse making is almost scary. I wonder if fans from other fan bases make excuses like this to explain decades of futility?

right...but you did see the outcome of the drives. turnovers. Again...context.

Bell is a backup and rarely fumbles. Blizzard caused those. Snowing the most when he fumbled. Waddle was hurt and Bush hurt so hindered run and big play runs like McCoy had. Can't pass in blizzard which is Lions strength.

Lions win this game in normal weather.
