No idea what the other QBs are in terms of overthrows, but 8 percent seems like a hell of a lot to me.

LKP, since you are going to science and physics, Occam's Razor. Simplest explanations tend to be the right ones. Stafford hasn't had any playoff success. Chokes on the big stage. Overthrows way too much. Horrible career QB rating. Simple explanation? Guy just isn't elite. And I don't think he ever will be.

The problem with that stat is it doesn't take into account the times he over throws wide open WRs or RBs in the flat.

It's simple, he's good (can be elite) but his weapons haved fucked up. There is a reason we added Tate and Ebron. It's not because Stafford sucks, it's because Staffords and Calvins greatness isn't enough.

The record proves nothing other than the Lions had injuries to his weapons and secondary. This causes people to underrate him severely.

5 losses the run game was shit. 3.4 YPC on the day or worse. All those days we were missing Waddle too and some days Reggie Bush. And two games Calvin to draw attention. Inconsistent run game when RT and RB were injured.

He was a good QB. Every QB needs improvement. That aren't making major changes. That has been said by Lombardi, just some tweaks.

Stafford has done enough to win for the most part. And carries this team a ton. There are so many other factors, 3.4 YPC or less rushing in 5 losses, poor pass protection in 2 losses, WR/DE/CB injuries, poor drop rate, coach predicatbility scheme wise, 15 fumbles lost (31st in league), lack of defensive turnovers.

Blizzard game can't pass, no Calvin/Pettigrew/Waddle game at Vikings and Ravens game he did enough with a shold be game winning TD pass late but they got a miracle FG. The 10 picks in 4 losses where he threw a pick were not all his fault. Stats and game tape together don't lie.

Context. 7 in the blizzard game, just dropping the ball and picking it up. Only 1 fumble was Staffords fault.

I hear violins playing again. watch all the second half's when they were in the driver seat. he failed big time. the team failed but he was the master choker. watch them, you will see. I dvr'd all of them and its blatently apparent. there were some drops for sure but ample opportunities to overcome.
