My way too early yardage prediction thread

Don't call me a homer because i have some faith. I never called this team a Super Bowl team. And stop blaming your negativity on the "homers". You guys bitch and complain no matter what...

If the homer fits wear it..

I don't know what Schwartz did in his past life but that fucker is cursed. Dareus arrests, Alonso goes the way of broyles, Byrd leaves town

so you believe in "curses in the past" for Swartz but ignore the past 57 years of Detroit Lion history?

Tom, it's all about picking and choosing which arguments he likes best. Seattle's offense is miles behind Detroit, except they were more efficiently statistically and put up more PPG. Stafford is way better than Wilson, except Wilson had to deal with less room to work with when making passes, and his rating is miles better. This is just another one. Schwartz is cursed and he goes along with that, but the Lions past is disregarded. The team missed Delmas in one thread, but he's addition by subtraction after he departs.

I think he is just messing with us. Some other regular here has two accounts and is just trolling. Nobody can be this irrational!

He's trolling for sure. But it has been fun for me but I'm kind of bored with it now. Time to start posting in the Tigers forum which I used to do.

Yeah I think so. His last post about how we are all lucky to have him is a little weird. I think he's just messing with us and this is all a big joke.

Delmas hurt us in games but was missed in 2012 for sure due to safety depth issues and other safety injuries to 2nd string. He's a good player overall but certain games he can hurt us. Not that hard a concept to grasp that on certain games he can hurt. Ihedigbo can help us more in run support and blizt. I've said all along Ihedigbo won't be as good in coverage but he won't make the major mistakes that Delams does. You won't get the great with Ihedigbo like you did with Delmas but you won't get the giant mistakes either. Plus Ihedigbo can practice and is durable and better in run support. It's really simple but you fail to grasp this concept.

Lions have no curse other than bad GMs previously and poor QBs previously. Thank goodness we have Mayhew and Stafford now. Schwartz just has bad voodoo probably because he's a dick and I'm glad Buffalo is having problems so we easily destroy them.

PPG for Wilson is all due to Seattle turnovers. It's obvious. That makes him efficient in scoring, short fields only. Stafford is clearly the better QB under normal turnover circumstances. If you need a long drive, Stafford is your man.

If you want someone with a lousy career rating, had one good season, constantly overthrows receivers, can't handle winning under pressure, goes on long stretches where he is a liability, can't handle pressure in the pocket, and has the mobility of a statue, then yeah Stafford is your man.

Moves the ball incredibly well, great on 3rd down, scores a ton of points on long drives, great leader and great for comebacks and really has a true low int rate when you look at the ints that are actually his fault. That is Stafford. Stop being blind.

He is great for the opponent's come backs with his late game pick 6's, poor 4th quarter completion % and other turnovers!

3 games out of 61 in his career. Boo hoo. Overall he's a good QB. You are really taking him for granted.

3 games with pick 6's but look at his career completion percentage in the 4th and his other turnovers. The 4th quarter is his worst...when the team needs him the most. I'm not saying he has had some moments and some good games but he chokes late in games more than he is great.

His backup weapons are usually the chokers. Stafford plays well. See the Pittsburgh 4th Quarter game tape. See the TD pass late against Ravens and the great throw to Calvin late 4th against Tampa that was picked. He threw 3 tds against Tampa by the way too. Late TD to beat Bears and Redskins too and the incredible drive against Cowboys.

You boil everything down to the Giants game pick 6. It's not Staffords fault they only scored 3 in hte first half of that game either. None of the 4 drives stalling were his fault, even the pick. Stop thinking about one throw and judging Stafford. Overall Stafford is a good QB and we are lucky to have him.

Something deep down tells me you don't believe what you are saying and you are just trolling the hell out of this board. I still think this is a Kutcher job and you are punking us.

I've been saying that for months.

What do you want me to say? The Lions will only win 7 or 8 games and underachieve. Or 7-8 games is their max for wins. I would if that were the truth, but it isn't. This team is loaded with talent, has the coaching now and should have a huge 2014. Can't wait.

What team in the NFL besides Jacksonville isn't loaded with talent? So freaking sick of hearing that. Every fan base can speak to their oodles and oodles of potential.

Has what coaching now? Forgive me for not getting excited about Jim Caldwell, who was Plan B by the way, whether you like it or not after Wisenhunt said no thanks. When he's had head coaching jobs, other than one season where Manning basically coached himself, he's sucked. He was AWFUL at Wake Forest, and after Manning went down, he sucked. You have ZERO idea how this staff will do. Just like we all had ZERO idea how Mooch would do, or Morhenweig, or Marnelli, or Schwartz. Until they prove it, you can't speak on them.
