New Batting Order?

Ramon may play 110 games in 2012. He could see 25 at shortstop. So pencil Ramon-in for 85 games at 2B.

What's scary is the remaining 77 games that Raburn may butcher at 2B. :'(

I'll probably bitch about Raburn, no doubt about that.

I just don't feel Santiago is capable of being a full time player, not like I said, without being worse than Raburn at the plate.

I's be in favor of a platoon vs. LHP for Raburn only so long as someone else is also available to play second, Ramon is a career backup, and at this point in his career I don't think he's ready to be full time or take as many PA's as he would if he played against all RHP.

I don't believe Ramon is a FT player either. I always thought the position we needed to fulfill in the off-season was a 2B. And I'd rather see Raburn hit against LHP only. Maybe if Dirks didn't suck they could platoon.

Most all good ideas on the lineup.
Keep in mind that Leyland had over 125 different lineups last year for all types of reasons; slumps, injuries, nagging types, day off, etc.

You forgot Alzheimers, where he just plain forgets who plays where.
