Kiper's latest mock has us taking Odell Beckham Jr. at #10.

He has Watkins at 3, and Evans at 7 to the Bucs.

I think he's on crack, but 9 days til the draft, anything can happen I guess.

Hes been on ESPN a lot explaining how any pick at 10 for Detroit wont make much sense. beckham is a need pick he made because he sees 10 as a perfect trade down position for us. He thinks a team will trade up for an OT left on the board between martin or Lewan.

The draft "experts" that put out these mock drafts just compile team needs and throw different players into each team's slot just to get more web clicks every week. I put zero stock into mock drafts. It's fun to talk about it but no way does Beckham become a Lion at 10.

I personally like Landry better than OBJ anyways.

That is the best case scenario for the Lions. They need more picks. Trade back to mid teens and take HA-HA

I have been saying for a while would love Landry. Might have to trade into early second or late first to get him.

hes all over the board in mocks. ive seen him late first....but ive seen him late 3rd too. Theres so many WR names out there that have had periods of time in the spotlight. Latimer is the most recent. Davante Adams had a ton of momentum for awhile. Moncrief was being boosted by the likes of Polian as a 1st rd talent. Bryant, Coleman, Allen Robinson...you can go on and on lol. Its all about how well the teams did their due diligence and trying to fit their guy into their system. Personally, I think Moncrief works the best for what we need. A big body on the outside that has good speed and has the capability of learning to run NFL routes.

The Lions will trade up and take a bat crazy WR with a torn ACL coming off brain trauma that has a kid named Jr.Jr.

Landry ran a 4.77.....please god no on the slowest receiver at the combine. I've watched him. Super awesome ball skills and hands. Unfortunately no athleticism. Also second lowest vert.

ya I think that number alone probably dropped him to a late 3rd rd pick or later. Too much other talent to stack up against him....one unchecked box like a slow 40 time can mean a lot.

40s aren't as important if the receiver runs good routes and has good hands. That said, i don't want either receiver. Watkins or Evans. Those are the only ones I wont complain about in round 1. Evans helped manziel more than any receiver in the draft. That is worth a lot in the nfl. Would prefer a D pick, but wouldn't be upset with sammy or evans.

No way. Guys are on crack. It's gonna be Ebron

I dont see how we could take Ebron at 10 after resigning Pettigrew. With the fact that they admit they arent sure if Houston will be able to return to form I think we have to go CB 1st rd.

they would me stupid not to take him if still there. may be the best player in the draft.

And he may not be..maybe we should take a QB then. Taking a TE would be idiotic.

If stafford can't score with what he has now, we should find his replacement now. Unless a WR or TE is truly elite, I see no reason to draft one at 10. Ebron is not elite. Good, but not at that level. Meanwhile, plenty of other good defensive players will be available at 10 or lower. I wouldn't hate Ebron, i just think it'd be stupid to waste a chance to actually make the team better. The pick has to be DE/OLB or DB. That or an elite offensive player that significantly upgrades the group.
