Official Day 3 Draft Thread

In a perfect world... our remaining picks would be:

5th: Michael Bennet. Immediately solidifies the DTs and gives us a complete roster.
6th: Brett Hundley. Pushes Stafford and removes Orlovsky.
7th: Ifo Ekpre-Olomu. Falls to 7th because of his size, and we get a great young corner on super cheap.

Wasn't Peters the guy with the history of having extreme arguments with his coaches?

No thanks, I pass on that. I want a guy who will learn from the vets, not a guy who won't even listen to his coaches.

Yeah, the kid has an attitude problem but he's awesome.

Hundley to the Pack. Never mind.

Let's draft Ifo's girlfriend. I'll play touch football with her.

When our best overall asset is our Defensive Coordinator, who spent the majority of his career as a secondary coach, I don't want a kid who argues with coaches.

All his skills won't mean shit if he argues with Austin.

People change, man. Second chances, right? Just sayin...

I'm big on second chances, but you only get one chance to make each pick.

I'd rather the Lions take a guy that's going to be high skill high character over a guy with higher skill low character, and let someone else give him a second chance.

Jameis Winston was high skill, and I wouldn't have drafted him in ANY round. If a guy is too stupid to not steal frozen crab legs when he's working on becoming the first pick in the draft, I don't want him in any round ever.

What a fucking chucklehead. Peters went head to head with his coaches. Another fucking chucklehead, and that one was actually related to football.

Complete pass for me.

He explained it to Harbaugh, saying that the guy in the store gave him the crab for free but that day, someone saw him not pay for it and thought he was stealing. Illegal by ncaa standards, but if it's true, i won't knock him for it.

Omg jake ryan to the Pack. Noooooo! Good for him, but fuck!

To me he always played, acted, and looked (when he had long hair) like Clay Matthews and always thought he would be similar. Now it seems Pack think same and when CM is gone, his replacement will be ready. The two of them on the field at the same time will be tough. Either side or both could attack the QB, O won't be able to key on just CM in thise situations. It will be great for Jake, and the Pack...as Lions fan I'm NOT happy about it at all.

Anyone with a brain knows that a store employee giving you free shit is still stealing. And that's a weak ass story too.

He put it all at risk for frozen crab legs man, after plenty of controversy already. No brains in that decision at all. I knock him for it big time.

Actually, I'm shocked Harbaugh didn't smack the shit out of him for even trying a crap story like that. Jim is getting soft in his old age.

Or he could have just made it up to cover his ass..

In fact, I just want to add to this argument a little.

If Jameis honestly thought it was okay for an employee to give you some free stuff... why did he shove it down the front of his pants? Why not ask for a bag and walk out.

The fact the crab legs were down his panties automatically tells you he knew he was doing wrong. He was trying to hide it. He was living out the grocery store scene from Animal House.

He can't turn around now and say "I thought it was okay because the employee said I could. Hell, I always tote my groceries home in my britches like that. I'm environmentally friendly and don't like plastic bags."
