Official Day 3 Draft Thread

Too bad it wasn't a live crab he shoved in his pants.

No kidding there.

I love crab. I would do a lot for some crab. I wouldn't shove 30 some pounds of frozen crab legs down the front of my pants.

Cold. Spines. Claws. Near my junk? No thanks. That's not going to be a first option for me if I think I am not doing something illegal.

In fact, I just want to add to this argument a little.

If Jameis honestly thought it was okay for an employee to give you some free stuff... why did he shove it down the front of his pants? Why not ask for a bag and walk out.

The fact the crab legs were down his panties automatically tells you he knew he was doing wrong. He was trying to hide it. He was living out the grocery store scene from Animal House.

He can't turn around now and say "I thought it was okay because the employee said I could. Hell, I always tote my groceries home in my britches like that. I'm environmentally friendly and don't like plastic bags."

Down his pants? Uhhh no. Does this look like he is stealing?

It's time to move up and go get Bennet or Ifo. Impact players who won't last much longer. They just can't.

Okay, I agree with you. I remember the reports said he had them down his shorts.

That video clearly shows an employee hand him the food, and he calmly walks out. I still feel he knows that is stealing, but it does support his statements.

What we don't know is if the employee told him it was a freebie... but that doesn't matter. I clearly can't argue that he was shoving them down his pants, because he clearly didn't.

Dear ESPN... please improve your shitty day three coverage.

We don't tune in to day 3 to hear you guys talk about the day one picks, and ignore the guys currently being drafted.

Pampered college superstar, IMO. The thing is that he seems like a down to earth kid and his teammates love him. My real worry would be the rape allegation. It could be BS, but if it's not, the bucs need to worry about a repeat. Then again, kobe hasn't had issues since his rape allegation.

I don't get it either. As far as I'm concerned they can stfu the entire draft.

There's a lot of non-factors with this kid. He was cleared of the rape charge. Jumping on a table and screaming "fuck her right in the pussy"? Immature maybe, but it's college. Who cares? The crab legs is apparently a non-factor. His autograph ending up in an auction with Manziels? Who cares? He made some quick money, no biggie.

But add it all together, and you have red flags to worry about. It's not one incident, it's a history of them.

Don't like the pick.

Stick to the same format as the first two days. Announce the pick, quickly discuss the pick, move on.

I do not want day three to ignore the day three players just to hear more about the day one players. Shut up and discuss the CURRENT guys coming off the baord.

Gabe Wright. Seems like he could fit well as part of rotation. Our run D could be better with our new DTs, but pass rush has taken a hit.

Glad to see them fill the needs. Overall been a solid draft. No game changers, but definitely some contributors.

Wow, I forgot Kenny Bell was in the draft. He would have been nice.

NFL Network is even worse today. I had to turn it to espn because they are so bad.

I think the real reason is that they don't know jack shit about day 3 guys. They spend the whole process learning about the big names when quite frankly they probably didn't watch more than 10 college football games all year long. Exactly why I always put "experts" in quotes.

Saints just traded in front of us. Wonder who it could be?

Nor Ben Rapesurburger.
