Other Games - NCAA Basketball version

22Florida St knocked off 16Louisville, 80-75

2Duke won at 3 Virginia, 81-71. The talking heads were calling it the best win by anyone all year...

16 Purdue beat Nebraska by 19

Gonzaga and Nevada both beat high school teams, again.

today, 2/10/19

Ohio State plays at IU 1pm CBS

25Cincinnati plays at 12 Houston 4pm ESPN

Northwestern plays at 20Iowa 6:30pm BTN

2 games now I've seen Virgina play Duke and strangely Virginia hasn't had issues scoring but can't get stops when playing Duke. But Duke hit 13-21 3's yesterday when they normally hit 32 or 33% on the year. Normally you'd live with Barrett, who is mostly a non-shooter chucking up 10 3's, but yesterday he hit 6 of them.

Indiana some how in this game vs Ohio State. Langford carrying the Hoosiers, they have no business being in it.

47-47 with 3:38 to play. Indiana has never led.

Iowa getting their butts kicked in Iowa City by Northwestern.

Wtf

Iowa scores like 20 points in 3 minutes and pulls off the comeback.

Crazy

two big games tonight going on now:

PU @ MD, and MSU @ UW.

after today I think there are only 4-5 conference games left, so we'll have an idea of what we need to do to win the conference regular season.

Seems like the key part is being good AND having one or two less tough road games than the other good teams, by luck of scheduling. basically how MSU won the conference last year.

Duke down 23 with 9:13 left 59-36 and win 71-69 at Louisville :/

Deadspin is mocking Papa John for becoming Kentucky fan since Louisville "distanced" themselves from him.

He was sitting behind the Kentucky bench yesterday wearing UK gear.

That's kinda like if Dave Brandon became an OSU fan after we fired him and attended OSU games in menstrual blood red and gray, and tried to act like it was not abnormal.

there are 6 games left for all the 3 loss teams except Purdue has 7 but they also have the easiest remaining sched w/ their best opponent being OSU (.500 in B1G play). uofm appears to have the toughest schedule with half their games on the road including at MSU and at md. We have 4 home games w/ road games at uofm and iu.

that's an amazing come back

For sure ...Sadly they are probably going to win it all again. They have amazing players. Just one of these freshmen on either Michigan, MSU or maybe even Purdue would put anyone of the teams over the top for the ncaa title. It is all well and good how Jb seems to get the most out of his players but Other then Iggy Michigan?s freshmen Class is really underwhelming in my opinion. Hopefully they all make that huge jump in college basketball awareness between freshmen and sophomor seasons that a lot of Jb?s kids seems to make.

We're never going to get kids like Zion until we start paying them, or the NCAA enforces rules (ha!), like Duke, Kansas, UK, UNC, Arizona, etc.

We don't have to pay them directly, but we need a shady shoe guy to get them the money.

they might but they are starting 4 freshmen. It will be a tall task.
