Pettigrew

Dude, all we have to judge him is what he did...

He stunk. Not a referendum on how he'll be in the future. And it's painful to see the rest of the draft class do great things IN THEIR ROOKIE YEAR, SOMEHOW. Not sure how that happened.

That would be an interesting study, draft pick retention, team success, and individual success...How each front office ranks with all those things considered. I'd do it but I really don't want to track the careers of 1500+ picks.

That said, I heard some stat the other day something about how Peppers is the only starter or player on GB that has played for another team. Not sure how true that is.

2010 Round 2-7 would have been free agents last. 2011 was this year Rounds 207. 2010 1st rounders was this year.

How much would Best, Titus and LeShoure get if they worked out without injuries and insanity. Willie Young wanted 3 mil per season as a 7th round pick from 2010 that worked out. Alot of 2010 we traded away for Rob Sims, Houston and Corey Williams. Good moves for a few years and better than any late round pick really offers. 2011 we traded some away for Hill, Lawrence Jackson and Houston (part of deal). Again good moves at the time and for a few years after.

Ebron wasn't a fail. You can't be a fail if you don't matter. Year 2 and 3 is when you actually judge.

Only morons judge Ebron now.

You forgot to add unless its a QB. You can't judge them until year 7 and 8.

He didn't stink. 14 first downs and a TD, blocked well and opened things up for other players in his 294 routes. For a rookie, that's fine.

You shouldn't judge him yet. No judging.

14 first downs and TD for the 10th overall pick, who was supposed to come in and slice up defenses. WOW. High expectations over at Allen Park.

Stafford is a good QB. He's been judged and deemed good. The uneducated and oblivious to his circumstances think he's average to poor.

Year 2 and 3 is when the expectations kick in.

So out of 17 games we played he is good for...
0.82 First downs, 0.06 Touchdowns a game, top 10 pick well spent

But he opened it up for our high powered offense that almost scored as much as the greatest show on turf team the rams. They are an elite offense...Wait what year is it.

Calvin and Tate did well. Coincidence I think not.

When you can't argue facts and history you focus on possibility.

11-5 is a fact. He produced some is a fact. Year 2 and beyond is when you judge a pick is a fact.

Ebron didn't do much, doesn't matter, 11-5

The combo of Calvin and Pettigrew put up more Yards and TDs in 2011 and 2012 then the combo of Calvin and Tate did in 2014, with MUN opening it up for them.

Protection and run game a little different in 2011 compared to 2014. Calvin played all 16 in 2011 as well. So did Pettigrew. Calvin and Ebron did not in 2014.

11-5 doesn't mean jack shit, sorry. It's a nice season. They didn't win anything. We going to be talking in 10 years about the magical 11-5 season? Meanwhile in GB, NE, New York, Seattle, Pittsburgh, they win playoff games and super bowls. We get excited about beating 10 teams with losing/.500 records and getting bounced in round 1.

11-5 is a great season. Tough NFC. Lions will be good for years to come. Looking for many playoff wins in the future. We beat Dallas truly too.
