Playoff chances looks like it just increased some.

Haha. With the Giants tough schedule I think Dallas wins the division. If Cutler is messed up, I see Detroit and Atlanta as the two front runners. Possible the Giants if they play much better than they did tonight. I don't see anyone else with a chance. Hopefully Detroit gets there 3 wins, I believe 10 gets us in.

Chicago and Atlantas road to the playoffs look like a cake walk compared to ours...even without cutler.

Chicago will suck bad without Cutler. Caleb Hanie isn't even 3rd String capable. Maybe Chicago goes after David Garrard. Plus of the remaining 6 games for Chicago 4 of them are on the road. I don't see them being overly favored in any of the remaining games.

@ Oakland - Loss
vs. KC - Win
@ Denver - Loss (Tebow Power)
vs. Seattle - Loss
@ Green Bay - Loss
@ Minnesota - Loss

still gotta get to 10 wins.....no matter if Jim Belushi plays Qb for the Bears.

I think the Bears go 4-2

3-3 at worst

they need to go 3-3...we need 10
If somehow we can pull a thanksgiving miracle out we will most likely win the tiebreaker with Chicago with the better Div record.

I agree but it won't because of the Bears. If Cutler is out for the season I don't see them winning 3 games. Load up the box and stop Forte. Or the better hope the defense comes up big.

Hanie has been in the league 4 years.....wasn't horrific when he got pressed into the NFC Champ Game last year....

I see them winning 2 maybe 3 with him.

I don't think getting to 10 wins is really a stretch looking at the schedule.

Even if we get swept by Green Bay.... Minny, and SD are very winnable games - especially if AP misses any length of time with his high ankle sprain and who knows what the fuck is wrong with SD this year. Rivers has had a horrific season.

Oakland is winnable without McFadden - even if Palmer looks much improved from his Bengals days

Gotta figure the Saints beat us on Sunday night at home, and the Pack beats us twice...

Only backup plan is if Green Bay has it all wrapped up for the last game and rests guys.

I had us beating Chicago last week (oops) and finishing 5-3 to go 11-5

Last 6 games:

Green Bay - Loss
@New Orleans - Loss
Minnesota - Win
@Oakland - Win
San Diego - Win
@Green Bay Loss

lol

What pearls of wisdom did you pick up that make you so sure we'll lose in Oakland?

I get the West Coast travel factor, and that they're a good running team with an improved Palmer... but they barely beat a bad Vikings team that lost AP in the 1st half and that was with Ponder throwing 3 INT's

Plus they gave up 38 to Denver at home....

I'm too much of a chicken-shit to bet you $100, plus I fear my wife's wrath if I lose, but I'm just sayin...

Looks like a winnable game...
