Playoff chances looks like it just increased some.

If it comes down to Lions making or missing the playoffs in their final game vs GB, GB may want to just put us out of our misery.

Just run the ball in the cold weather... Heck both of our backs had over 6 yards a carry yesterday.. The Packers cannot stop the run very well and Detroit stopped itself in the first half not the Packers...

Yeah, that is what I would expect as well. My post was more about Green Bay and their starters possibly playing.

We probably have to hope the Bears implode with their backup and the NYG lose with their tough schedule. Alt. is playing well and they have a tie breaker.

and a way easier schedule than the rest of the playoff hopefuls:

@
Houston with a 3rd string qb

@
Carolina = garbage

vs
Jacksonville = hot garbage with their starting qb benched today

@
New Orleans = tough game but NO may have clinched by then

vs
Tampa Bay = meh, garbage.

Like I said, Atlanta and one spot left. Hopefully Chicago will play like they did today. And if Detroit wins 10, I see the NYG not because of their schedule.

playoff pic is clear....got to win 10
Atl has to lose 3(@Hou, @Car, @NO)
NYG have to keep losing(their conference record blows) or they beat Dallas out in the conference

Chicago appears to be in better shape even with Cutler out. They have Sea and Minny&GB on the road for conference games. Looks like they win 8 conference games. The only way we do that is run the table against @NO, @GB, Minny. The only hope would be them losing at Minny.
The other option is tieing them and beating GB in hopefully a meaningless game in week 17 for them and getting a better division record than the Bears.

looks like 10 wins and 3 Atl loses is what we need

I just don't see Chicago winning 3 games. I know its an easy schedule but that guy looked turrible yesterday.

The good news is all of a sudden the NFC is trash and most of the teams playing for playoff wildcard spots are pretty bad teams. The bad news is we too are a pretty bad team. You lose 5 of 7 and can only muster 17 points against a pretty poor NO defense...were in trouble. CHI took another big hit today. ATL still has the easy schedule imo. Giants are toast unless they go on a huge run against real tough competition....not likely.

By default i think we find ourselves in the playoffs along with ATL and i think we only need 2 wins to get there. Hopefully oakland keeps playing the way they did today. SDs Oline is in chambles and we get a fired up Suh back that game. Min is next up and should be a win....hopefully without Peterson. GB may be tough if theyre playing for perfection. Mccarthy will be going for it, no doubt.

Forte out....and Tebow next week(lol) I see the Bears taking a tumble..the KC loss hurt them big time. Minny & GB still on the road.

I can see Carolina taking out Atl...Car. is a dangerous team right now, then they have NO at the Superdome.....I think 3 wins just might get us the #5 seed

I'm not too worried about Atlanta. We get ahead of Chicago and 2nd place team between NYG/Dallas and we're in.

Yeah I think Atlanta is in unless they implode the last few weeks.

Chicago is screwed with Forte down, and could end up losing to Minny if AP is back by then. Long as we take care of Minny and San Diego I think we can back in, and almost for sure if we win those 2, plus beat Oakland.

Horribad as the last 2 games have been to watch, at least they're playing meaningful games in December. Been a long time...
