Rushing and Winnings

There is about 9 teams that stay relatively healthy.

There is your KC turnaround. Extreme health.

turnaround for KC was part due to the lack of injuries but also a QB that can actually play. Do you notice that Detroit was in the top 1/2 of games missed right there with the Bears and AZ (both of whom won more games than the Lions). Also, look at some of the teams that were more injured and overcame them. 8 playoff teams were more injured than the Lions.....Carolina, SF, Denver, Saints, SD, NE, GB & Indy.

You think Alex Smith can play. Holy shit you are a lost cause.

Stafford blows Smith out of the water.

Bears had almost no injuries on offense other than Cutler for a few games. Bears could have played teams with more injuries. Lions played healthier teams.

LKP, you shouldn't have posted that link, it pretty much blows up all of your arguments about how the Lions are the most injured team in the league.

They are smack dab in the middle of the NFL, according to whatever the hell AGL is. Sounds like we have sabermetrics in football now.

Concentrated injuries. Check out WR and Dline.

And some things don't show on that list. Chris Houston playing hurt for instance costing us against GB and TB.

Detroit can be about 20-30 adjust games lost healthier. And will easily win 10-11 games if that happens. And they are better prepared for injuries too.

2013 Alex Smith: 60.6 completion %; 23 TDs and 7 INTs 89.1 QB rating
2012 KC TEAM: 57.5 completion %, 8 TDs; 20 INTS; 63.8 rating

So yes...from 2012 to 2013 KC got a QB that can actually play!

YPA was terrible. Dump down king to Charles and McCluster. Alex Smith is a shit QB. Just because KCs QBs really sucked does not mean Smith is good.

Charles and health are the only reasons they made the playoffs. AFC West is still junk too. I don't care what their records are.

lol...you and your excuses. DL..SF, NO, NE & Bears all more injured. WR...SD,SEA,SF all more injured. DB (your biggest excuse out there) and the Lions weren't even in the bottom 8....but SF, IND, NO and Carolina were. See what good teams do...they overcome injuries, they don't use them as excuses!

Playing hurt is worth more. Houston out there hurt us.

Lions played healthier teams. Lions played hotter teams.

Lions were plenty injured as you can see in that link. More than the Bears and Vikings. Bears had extreme health on offense. Lions injuries concnetrated at DB/WR/DE.

We had shit refs not calling DPI and holding against our opponents. Blizzard game and injuries combined.

And we had some flukey turnovers and bad unlucky recovery rates on fumbles for offense and defense.

Even just one of these go in our favor, Lions win 10-11 games.

It is a slam dunk the Lions will be in the playoffs this season.

AFC West head and shoulders better than the NFC North last year...and it isn't even close!

Smith YPA - 6.50....Stafford's career YPA -6.99

Houston played hurt so it didn't count in that ranking dumbass.

WR and DE were the big ones.

Stafford much better and will be even better with Tate and Ebron to stretch the field.

And AFC West blows as does most of AFC.

NFC North is toughest division.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/schedule/_/name/kc/year/2013

Lions go 14-2 with that shitty KC schedule in 2013.

AFC west point differential +249.
NFC North point differential -114

AFC West record outside their own division 25-15
NFC North record outside their own division 18-22

oh, right, players from other teams don't play hurt...just Lions!

You post a link that totally blows up one of your many excuses....how ironic!

It showed the lions had a ton of injuries. More than the bears who you excused for losing the division due to injuries.

Lions were the more injured game in most games

And AFc west played shit AFc teams. Lions would have won west easily

Based on LKP's astute mind I'm changing my Detroit win total from 7 to 5.
