Russell Wilson....lol

Let's put the kibosh on this horribly sad thread that was created in jest, but backfired massively.

Wilson had the best passer rating in the NFL, and it wasn't close.

Had a poor 1st half in a playoff game, and stepped up in the 2nd half. Save the "prevent defense" BS, this was a PLAYOFF game, and that is what differentiates Wilson's second half from Stafford leading a big comeback against the Browns in week 4.

We compared him to Stafford because we are Lions fans, and it's laughable to say he's just a "good" QB. If that's what he is, Stafford is a bum.

Passer Rating demon!! Lol. Nobody cares!!! As for this thread backfiring? You're fkn clueless. Wilson proved me right 1000x over. I predicted that Seattle wouldn't win shit (check), I pointed out that when RW plays a solid defense, he isn't God (check), I predicted that Minny would beat them (sooooo close and it should have happened), I predicted that Carolina would "embarrass" the SeaWilson's (CHECK). So backfired??? Think again, chump.

Wilson was complete fkn dogshit in the 1st half. 31-0, buddy!! 31 to absolute ZERO!! Lol. Riverboat Ron Rivera even admitted that Carolina went into "protection mode" in the 2nd half. So, NO, we're not saving it lol. Your boy is an average QB that had an elite year this year. Wilson was owned in both games of the playoffs and was lucky they won the game against Minnesota. OWNED!!! And i told all you Wilson nut huggers what would happen when he plays a solid defense. You're all complete retards if you think RW mounted some special comeback. Did you watch the game? On defense, they stopped being aggressive and on offense, they were more vanilla than a preseason game...lol. Overrated isn't even a word i can use because if i was a Seahawks fan, that would have been an embarrassing way to get beat. I wonder if Michael Silver has made an apology to the football world after basically saying that the Seahawks were winning the SB without even a hitch lol.

Both him and Stafford are good QBs in this league tho.

Stafford has arguably the league's best arm strength, a howitzer that many teams use as the example when they think about the prototypical quarterback. His average pass traveled 6.4 yards in the air this year, which was 34th in the league. There's nothing wrong with using your Bugatti to run errands within a half-mile of your house -- you will get there faster -- but it does defeat the purpose a little bit.

Stafford with basically a league worst in this category, so you can attribute those magic numbers he had at the end to his WRs doing all the work for him.

You can't take anything away from what Stafford did last year. Overall, it was his second best year of his career. That said, overall, Wilson had a better year.

Right. And when the discussion is that Wilson is just a "good" QB, what does that make the guy under center with the Lions?

Sadly Wilson wins Playoff games.. Stafford does not even when we had a great Fucking defense.. Hopefully 2016 will be Stafford's year!!!

You know what, I don't want him to fail. I'm tired of seeing this franchise suck. I am. But I've seen enough from the guy under center to know what he is, and I really don't expect him to be great.

Wilson did not have a better year. Numbers are way too similar to say that. Two good QBs that just so happened to have elite years.

Gotta tell you guys, this ignore stuff is fantastic. I can just picture what he said in my head
"F'in idiot, you hate Stafford, you want him to fail."

Was that close? Feel free to quote him if you are bored.

He went all John Clayton ESPN and called Stafford's 2015 year "elite"...I guess, along with Eli, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Blake Bortles...

Am i wrong though? He put up great numbers lol. His comp% was over 67%. According to most of the people on this board, thats elite. Bortles and Fitzpatrick? Are you high?

Holy shit....you're a tool, pussy and a coward. You ignore me but want to know what i'm saying? Lol. Grow a pair.

You can say he had a better year. Better completion percentage, better YPA, better TD rate, better INT rate, led the NFL in passer rating & added 550 yards on the ground. The ONLY statistical category where Stafford beat Wilson was in passing yards. He beat him by 238 yards...of course, Stafford needed 109 more passing attempts to gain those extra 238 yards!

It's like comparing two baseball players....let's say Miggy to Trout and you are trying to say Miggy had the better year. Both good years but it is pretty easy to see that one is better.

Miggy hits .320, 30 HR, 110 RBI and 0 SB

Trout hits .330, 33 HR, 100 RBI, and 20 SB (in fewer ABs)

Be a fucking man instead of your boyfriend Cheeno running around reporting to you...lol. Absolutely pathetic

Thats your opinion. I dont agree with it. Both QBs had carbon copy years. Wilson dissappears then shows up at the end. Stafford did the same thing. BOTH QBs played weaker defenses and flourished. BOTH played stronger defenses and struggled. BOTH put up similar stats through the air

that's fine. I think we both agree that Stafford had a good year...my pointing out that Wilson's stats are a little better across the board isn't enough to get you to admit he had a better year...that's cool. I'm stubborn like that too! ;)
