didn't he have a better qb rating, same tds, less ints, in a tougher division while leading his team to a superbowl win? Add to that he did that with his top 2 WRs out and throwing the ball to 2 UDFAs......Id say that's better....

sheesh....if we had our top 2 WRs out for almost an entire year LKP would use that excuse for the next decade as to why were not any good. Wilson didn't seem to use that excuse and made the guys around him better. Stafford cant do that....ever.

You want to talk about not having weapons, look at what Russell Wilson has on offense. He had Tate, Doug Baldwin and Zach Miller. Those were his receivers. He has Marshawn Lynch who is pretty good (but not as good as Bush, as LKP will contest). And yet he has better numbers than Stafford, he's more efficient, smarter, and more mobile. He also has to deal with shorter fields, which makes it substantially harder to score when the defense clamps down in the red zone. No idea why it's laughable to suggest he's a better quarterback.

I'm not sure what to think of Wilson. His qb rating is great, solid touchdowns and interceptions. But his team was awesome he was sacked a whopping 44 times with barely passing the ball. That tells me he has a tendency to hold onto the ball too long. How many times would he get sacked if he had to pass more than 20 times? 80? We'll see I guess. Granted he'll probably have a greater year with a healthy Percy Harvin.

So what. He still makes the throws, less INT ' S, more mobile, produces wins on offense.... and put the Super Bowl in the books with a stellar performance. Stafford has not done that, end of story.
