Stafford

Almost. Second good drive led by stafford. Then some bad running

bad running is usually the qbs fault too....didn't pick up something, made the wrong call, didn't check out...etc etc etc.

4th down bell just stopped. 3rd down I actually hope it was stafford and not Lombardi play call

that shitty game manager Russell Wilson dominated Chicago today. 2 passing tds rushind td and 200 yds in a half.....must be all because of his defense.

I'm almost ready to give them another SB. They'd fk us up if we played them..

Henne and Bortles dominated the Bears last week too lol. So who gives a fuck?

The throws he was making on the run was amazing. I say that literally because I was amazed. I didn't know you could make throws on a absolute rope sprinting full speed to the sideline 30 yards down field. Guess I have been watching Stafford too long who for much of last year tried to be more Wilson than Brady when the pocket broke down, resulting in a side arm abortion.

This brings me to my thought on LKPs schtick. Stafford did nothing wrong last year I watched the tape but lemme praise Jim Caldwell, Joe Lombardi, and Jim Bob Cooter as Qb fixing (or fixin in the case of Jim Bob) geniuses. Isn't their hiring redundant if Stafford isn't the problem? Oh shit did I just say beetlejuice three times? Can I get an abandon thread gif?

Only got to wantch the first quarter this morning before heading to work but from what I saw Stafford looked sharp when he moved through his progressions and didnt force the ball to Calvin. When he fell into his old ways he had some bad throws and an interception.

At what point is he going to realize we upgraded his other options and there is no need to force to CJ. Was happy to see him throw away one pass, but damn its hard not to get pissed when he is forcing the ball into double coverage like the past.

The Jags defense didn't realize that once Ebron and Tate are on the field they aren't supposed to be double covering CJ anymore. Maybe because it was preseason and they were trying out something different. So in the regular season when other teams don't do this it will actually be single coverage. Not a true interception and not Stafford's fault.

I did notice he threw an int with no TD's in the first half. I didn't watch enough of Stafford to know if he played well or not but the end game is Bush scored a long TD and that was it..They maybe play that goline situation different in regular season..

But the end result was 10-16 for low 6.1 YPA and an INT. Against Jacksonville..

Doesn't matter who we played. Bottom line, Stafford looked like shit for 2 series, but settled in nicely after that. Completed like 8 in a row after that and was moving the chains. He looked sharp afterwards....it's what you want to see.
So sit back and enjoy the 35+ TDS he throws this year.

I think 6 of the 8 were within 3 yards of the LOS with the ebron and calvin receptions being the "longer ones"...but give him praise if youd like.

I just watched some game tape..that's right. Okay it might not have been real game tape but watching Stafford, his footwork doesn't seem to be improved. Still throwing off the back foot for example..make throws that WR have to slow down, stop or reach back behind you.

Can't imagine they'll get it fixed overnight. Staffords done all this shit wrong since...forever

I get it but it's been 8 months..is it suppose to happen next season?

I don't think it ever happens.....hes just not comfortable in a pocket and always makes things more difficult than they have to be when the pocket starts to break down.
