Suh can play against the Cowboys

its ok mitch he's guilty but he's a star and its a playoff game pay the fine we'll let it go we need you for ratings and he didn't get hurt so no harm no foul it's about safety!

Safety first bahahahahahahahah you see how hypocritical it all is in the fixed NFL. NFL,network says he should be suspended for a couple of games next next year instead..oh man that was gold jerry gold!

Yet they gave him a fine..why if he was innocent?

Think of him as one of those people who got sued in civil court even though they were found 'not guilty' in criminal court.

Different standards of proof.

It would be kind a funny of a Dallas offensive lineman did the Texas two-step on Suh, Sunday.

Good news for our pass rush and run d. Still a scumbag that needs to be gone after super bowl run. Too risky now

Not even LKP has his back, lol but as soon as he helps us win a super bowl I want him gone.lol

Good player for short term. Too risky now and his contract demands are retarded.

Offer 12 million per, anymore see you later which some team will offer him more. So he will be gone

*Tin Foil Hat Time*

I have a feeling that Suh will "clean up his act" with whatever new team he goes to. I was never quite sure if he wanted to be in Detroit since being drafted. Remember that speculation after the draft when he signed a 5-yr deal instead of a 6-yr deal because he might want out early? I was never 100% behind the theory, but it's something I couldn't shake off as nonsense either. Because of his situation here, I don't think he ever really cared too much about the consequences of his actions...I honestly don't think it will hurt his new deal that much either, he's one of the top talents in this league and that will matter much more to a desperate team than a few fines and suspensions.

Too crazy?

So..he still found him guilty.

Arbiters do not assign guilt, nor do they find innocence. Only Goodell, the man who OBVIOUSLY is never wrong, can determine guilt in an infraction.

The Arbiter simply decides whether or not the punishment was correct within the terms of the CBA.

Suh didn't get his suspension overturned because he did or didn't do it intentionally. He got it overturned because he cannot be considered a repeat offender having not been fined through week 16 of this season, 32 consecutive games.

So if I club a guy with my cleat as a first time offender I get just a fine? Anyway, Goodell wasn't involved in this..so whoever gave him the suspension in the first place, why does his opinion now matter anymore?

The suspension is handed out by Goodell. The head of discipline (can't remember if they ever decided on an official title) makes a recommendation to the Commissioner, and the Commish decides whether or not to hand that down, or to modify it.

All suspensions are given to the player in writing by Goodell based on the recommendation of the guys who watch the tapes.

And yes, it's entirely possible, though not probable, you could get a suspension. In this case, however, the NFL directly referenced Suh as a "repeat offender", which by the terms of the CBA, he is not.

K. So the idea is to do something bad every 3-years?

Well, if you were a dirty player who feared the fines.. yeah, I guess so.

32 games in between fines/suspensions, and they cannot consider you a repeat offender. So at 16 games a year, it's really every two years and a game.

Cool..I wonder if Suh knew that. I still wish a Dallas guy does the same this week to him..

I would imagine he did. He's supposed to be pretty smart 99% of the time.

He isn't an idiot; he's just an ass.

Gotta get him on the ground first. Honestly don't think I've ever seen him fall down, besides the acrobatic nut shot to Schaub.

Glad to see LKP is on board with letting him go. Even if he earned SB MVP this year I don't think any Lions fan want him back due to liability vs cost. Better to use that money toward better overall team.

Next up, Stafford, though it is difficult to find a QB like Manning or Brady, it is easy to say when they are not and if that is what you want then you need to get lucky while also being good at drafting or FA. Stafford I think will be on a 1 year short leash next year.

I want him back. He has cleaned up his act for two years now. This incident, I believe, was unintentional. His contract demands will be very high but he is an elite DT.

As far as Stafford, who are you gonna get to upgrade the position? Stafford is here to stay.
