Suh can play against the Cowboys

It was exactly game 32 since he got 100 k fine against vikings week 1 last year

I thought it was game 33, but hey, who's counting?!

Game 32 was week 16 of this season against the Bears.

At the conclusion of that game, he was removed from the repeat offenders list. Week 17 against Green Bay he was in the clear.... until he stepped on Rodgers, intentionally or not.

The NFL suspended him for 1 game based on his being a repeat offender. The Arbiter ruled that according to the CBA, he was not.

Yes, he could have come in and said aliens made him do it, and still gotten his suspension overturned.

The only person in this world who knows for fact what his intent was, is him. We can only speculate, as did the arbiter, and the NFL to begin with. The arbiter felt he did it intentionally, but that has no more validity in reality than my belief he didn't.

He's the only guy who knows for sure.

The arbitrator cannot assign guilty or innocence. The only determine whether the penalty was fair for what was determined.

That is 100% correct. The arbiter has no ability to say "well, I think he's innocent and didn't do it on purpose, so booyah.. no suspension".

He can only determine that the penalty imposed by Goodell, on the recommendation of the discipline officer for the NFL, was not consistent with the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.

How do fans still defend this guy? Most unlikeable athlete in Detroit that I can ever remember, maybe in all of sports.

Just like the Dom stomp? The only one who knows for sure is Riola?

What evidence? That you don't like his answer?

First of all, a "source" within the NFL said he gave that answer. No one outside that room has actually heard the man himself say it, and the NFL has been pretty damned unreliable this last year, especially where "sources" are concerned.

Second, you're assumption is that because you find the excuse stupid, he must be lying. Sorry bro, but your opinion is a far cry from "evidence".

I honestly see it the exact opposite. IF he was going to lie to cover his ass, I would hope his PR people could come up with a better story than that. Something that makes people roll thier eyes and instantly call bullshit.. is usually the truth.

As they say, truth is stranger than fiction.

Not just me. You don't get a 70k fine on an accident..

Does anyone really believe the BS excuse my feet were numb, lol. People are rolling their eyes on his excuse.

From article:

He did not want to speculate about whether he was unfairly punished and initially said he didn't know about the letter sent to him telling him about the ruling change that allowed the NFL to treat him as a first-time offender after 32 games without a player-safety fine. When challenged on that, Suh admitted he saw the letter but didn't read the "nitty-gritty" of it.

Other Lions, including Calvin Johnson, said they could feel their feet Sunday at Lambeau Field but that it was quite cold on the field in Wisconsin. Temperature at kickoff in Green Bay was 27 degrees during the Lions' 30-20 loss.

Not caring isn't the same as intent to injure. Raiola goes around trying to injure people, Suh just doesn't care. Did he intentionally try to step on Rodgers? I don't think so. Did he know he did? Eventually. Did he care? Hell no. Should he have? I don't know, but the football field isn't exactly a bastion of caring and empathy.

It was cold, it was bound to numb all of one player. lol.

We call it has we see is all, I didn't defend him 3 years ago for the arm stomp, I didn't defend riola two weeks ago but I am defending suh fon this one becuase I take each case one by one as I see it...chenno is right two posts above was it intentional I don't think so maybe is was maybe it wasn't not enough evidance for me, did he realize it and care, probably and then no he probebly didn't care, fine with me was he suposse to care? Why it's football not the first time someone has been stepped on while on the ground was it a stomp like 2011 and riloa hell no

Guarantee if it was against us some of you supporting Suh would be against the other player.

Who cares if people believe the excuse? What is he supposed to say?

Maybe so Mitch, but I think after all these years, you also know it wouldn't be me.

I'm not defending him because he's Suh, or because he's a Lion. Wouldn't matter to me if he was a Packer or a Bear.

I just don't see it the way a lot of other people do.

naw if it weren't suh nobody even would have noticed other than Rodgers ass slapping him and Joe BFuck wouldn't have sobered all over himself either, guilty by name on the jersey.

It's not even important whether or not it was intentional. What is important is what happens next.

-The Bears will sign Rex Ryan as their new head coach
-The Bears will sign Suh
-Rex Ryan will keep those feet warm for him... happily

It will never happen again

No, Ink. You're consistent but others..

In any event, I'm getting tired of talking about Suh,
