Super Bowl??

Maybe you should change your name to "I won't come back no more". Lol. Lkp and facts don't go together. He's a excuse artist..a what if monger..

Thanks for stopping by though to add nothing, lol.

lol....youd think since he likes stats so much hed bring some to the table if he was going to say how lkp is right all the time. Maybe its LKPs 3rd log in name? Vegas would put a %age that LKP is right at about 5%. If half the shit lkp said were true we would have ended the year 16-0. Half!

Jaws also said Kaepernick is gonna be the greatest QB ever. Jaws is overrated as an analyst IMO.

At least Kaepernick's team made the playoffs the last two years and almost won a super
Bowl last year in which he was 16 for 28 and 302 yards and one td and one pick with a rating of 91.7...He rushed 7 times for 62 yards and one td..
Now is the greatest QB ever no....But is he worst ever...Nope.

Please let me know Matt Staffords last super Bowl stats...

I think Stafford makes the playoffs with that TEAM. I'm not saying Stafford is great but competent enough to make the playoffs with a great running game and great defense.

Not with 19 picks...Playoff year Matt yes... Last two years Matt No..
SF does have better coaches so maybe he would listen to them though..

I think he would listen, but he was being coached by pussies that didn't address his fuckups.

That is just it... Will he take constructive criticism .. Hopefully he will and we can win the division next year..

I've been reading and following everyone since the ESPN boards, but I've never chimed in at any time. Although the threads are generally negative (understandably so) due to years of the Lions crappy play, it seems that its been amplified. I just wanted to chime in on this whole Stafford debate. It seems that I normally tend to agree with LKP more often than not. He always posts numerous statistics/factual data to back up his argument, where as Mitch, Big Guns Bob, and Hughes post almost nothing but negative remarks with very minimal statistics. Although, Mitch, Bob, and Hughes do like to counter LKP with stats after the fact. If you folks were to bring your arguments into a boardroom, LKP would definitely be walking away the winner. I enjoy your debates, but LKP'S arguments have been owning you folks regarding Stafford.

Bob, regarding your argument about Stafford's misfires in the TB and Pitt games, you mentioned a whole 2 plays, while LKP provided example after example. But you did end it with you could go on and on. Very laughable with the catch-all statement to end it.

Mitch, you need to stop spewing out negative comments about Stafford without facts to back it up. You like to use comparisons like Manning, Brees, and Rodgers. Being that you're comparing him to 3 of the top 4 QB'S in the league is a complement in itself. You've said numerous times that you don't understand what everyone sees in Stafford (Announcers, analysts, and so forth), maybe because you're in the minority.

Hughes, you do sometimes provide stats, but your hatred for Stafford is obvious. You can't be convinced.

I'm not intentionally putting you 3 on blast either, it's just that you 3 seem to be the most vocal against LKP.

I'm sure after this post you'll be looking at my profile to see who I am, how old I am, or where I'm from, but you can't always trust what you see.

Nice try, however the board finds W-L to be equivalent to $$$, so since Stafford has more L, the company is in the Red. Now, this is not solely on Stafford and there is a huge R&D budget already tied up in that program so the company is going to go a different route and try to get the company into the Black with Stafford; however, this must be an immediately effective change and the company cannot be in the Red again or the project must be scrapped. Get it fixed, and all will be fine. Don't fix it immediately and we need to file for bankruptcy.

There, how is that for the company boardroom perspective?

I'm on the informed side. You are on the misinformed side. You are right opposite sides.

Top 6 in 4 major categories (tds, yards, 3rd down% and first downs passing (which leads to more attempts). But just ignore that. And go ahead and blame him for all 19 ints like a misinformed person. And assume Stafford is the only reason he's 58% and not 61%.

You've just been destroyed in this argument.

What's his record against winning teams? CRAP.

I put Alex Smiths stats up there (link) for a reason. He does not take chances and the coach limits his pass plays per game. The games plan for him is simple. Limit his pass attempts to minimize errors. Alex Smith is managed, Stafford needs to be and is not. Simple. Throw all those worthless stats out the window. Stafford does not have the skills to be a 3 TD to 1 INT plus passer. Smith has less skills but is a better manager, he understands his limitations and uses his strength to the Team advantage.

Lions lose every game with game management by a qb. Defense and run game not up to San Fran standards

His completion percentage is 1.5% less than Peyton edit: in his first 61 games: finish edit, and he was asked to throw much more often. I picked Comp % because that seems to be your hot button issue with him. I agree he is producing like an average QB. I'm just saying that at that position, there is a history of improvement with age and maturity.

I think he is going to be more like Favre than any of these others anyway. Favre had a career 62.0% comp. I'd be OK with that. I don't think you will.

If he doesn't throw int as much and doesn't tank at the end of the season then 62% might work but I don't see him doing that.

And Smith is having a perfect game... WITH NO J. CHARLES

He played great, but down the stretch they only managed 2 field goals. Allowed them to lose after having a 28 point lead.

When you score 44 points, the defense losses the game not Smith.

378 yard 4 td and 57 yards rushing? If that's game managing I'll take it.
