Barnhart goes from the Tigers #1 catcher to backup for the Cubs. He's taking a paycut from $7.5 mill to $6.5 mill, joining Jeimer Candelario who got a 1 year deal w/the Nats and also took a reduced salary. They are the only 2 former Tigers out of 16 to get employment in MLB.

WHO IS THE WISEST?
Totally Tigers

Over this week, we identified the 3 Wise Men of the Detroit Tigers.

The first is Chris Ilitch:
His offering? A new tv broadcast crew.

The second is Scott Harris:
His offering? Watchable games this coming year.

And the third is Ryan Garko:
His offering? The resurrection of top draft picks like Spencer Torkelson.

Out of these 3 presents, which is the one gift you want the most?

Which is the one gift you would most like to receive?

1. New tv broadcast team

2. Watchable games

3. Resurrection of top draft picks

How many of the 16 were employed by the Tigers at the MLB level?

I vote 3

I think if the top draft picks are "fixed" the games will become more watchable

Detroit adds another project arm, but there?s some upside here.
