I'd still be surprised if he doesn't sign somewhere before spring training Positional Player first report date of February 17.

They didn't get much because he was a 1/3 year rental that team then couldn't make a qualifying offer to him at the end of the season.

With his shortcomings, he has limited value for an NL team. He plays a corner position without a true corner pop in his bat. His defense is atrocious. He is a DH-type.
