By the way according to the radio guys the team pitching era ( maybe starting pitching) is now 4th in the AL.

Our pitching was supposed to be better than theirs, and I still think it is. Our offense is just two inconsistent all those runners in scoring position with no outs completely killed us this year just as much as the bad defense. Huge improvements needed for 5-9

Pitching and hitting should've been better than Chicago's.

Putting scrubs out there that have no business being in the majors tends to affect that.

using pitchers in bad situations where they've proven unreliable tends to affect things.

Now you know why the games in April are soo important! and all thos close one run games.Putting your closer in non save games are costly as well. and playing sub .220 average hitters day in and day out sure helps.

leaving Dotel in to long in Seattle comes to mind as a blown game when i thought he was better then Benoit among the many games Jim has mismanaged...

The Tigers went 8-10 against Cleveland. Cleveland is statistically the worst team in the majors. Do the Tigers have better talent than Cleveland? There's just no excuse for that.

U R right forgot about that one! Also got another for the leyland thread leaving Young in the 5 spot all season has been a good one. As the 5 hole hitter should have at least 100+ RBI"s this season. Not going to be close.

Well, when 5-9 has been filled by Inge (early in the season) for way too long, Raburn too many times, Santiago way too times, Kelly way too many times, then you are right.
