If he wins the triple crown he is a LOCK. I doubt he gets the HR title though.


Nothing is a lock if we miss the playoffs.

Leading a team to the post-season is one of the most important things to many of the voters.

There are actually several TC winners who did not win the MVP in the same season. Williams and Gehrig among them.

Ted Williams and maybe another player who was a Triple Crown Winner and didn't win the MVP.

Williams beat DiMaggio in nearly every category, and by a good deal in many.

If Miggy wins the triple crown will he also make Keith Law's top 5 mvp list then?
