KalineCountry[/color]]Tigers get hbp purpose? or just wild reliever?

After the second one my eyebrows were raised but who knows. I think the first one was on a breaking pitch but not sure.

7 straight outs, 4 straight K's for Fister, and 8 overall, Fister has a 2-hitter going thru 7 innings. As playoff tuneups go that is great.

F-ing Sox are so lucky... Bases loaded 1 out and Becket gets out of it with the hear of the order up..

it's the 8th inning so why isn't cringe in at 3rd, tanglefeet Kelly.

Very good outing by Fister. Excellent job.

Doug Fister is flat-out dominating the Indians. Nine strikeouts. For a ground-ball pitcher.

Doug Fister is averaging 7.3 K/9 with the Tigers, compared to 5.5 in Seattle this year.

Fister did not go to a three-ball count tonight.

Fister will have eight straight starts of allowing one earned run or fewer.

I'm so happy Dave went out and got Fister and didn't fall for that uboldo trap. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.

8..ooops 11-0 now, Tigers sure have had the collective necks of most of the teams in their division firmly planted underneath their cleated shoes, post ASB.

Wow Young with a bomb,

Tigers lead 11 - 0,

come on Miguel yes a single to left center and Cabrera is now batting .343
