Magglio takes a low inside strike call f'n ump, curve fouled back, fastball swings and misses,

Young takes fastball low, curve drilled to third,

Last Tiger with 25 wins: Mickey Lolich 1971. IMO, this is the best season by a Tiger pitcher since McLain won 31.

Lolich's 71 season was truly awesome too, I vividly remember the hothead Orioles manager Earl Weaver asking the umps to stop a game in which Mickey had already Ked 9 O's batters, to check him for objects or substances that may have helped him with his pitching so effectively. They did, but nothing was found on him...haha!!
