Tigers vs. whitesox Game Thread September 13

Watching the complete dismantling of 3 of the Tigers most hated rivals in the last week in a half have been some of the best times as my time as a Tiger fan (wasnt round for the 84 season).

Assuming the Tigers hold on tonight, what are the chances that Penny doesn't F up the streak tomorrow?

Just knowing he is crying is enough.

I said that to someone today. And I tend to keep my hatred of other sports teams in a check...but this has been so ridiculously enjoyable to watch. And you most likely will never see something like this again. Sweeping your 3 division rivals in 3 consecutive series and possibly a 4th. I can't imagine this happening again.

Verlander 6th inning, Santiago to 2B, Inge to 3B, Raburn to RF,

viciedo fastball inside, curve strike call, curve strike call, curve fly to right and Raburn takes a two shaky steps back and then comes in and has it,

FFrios fastball on the corner strike call, fastball ground ball to Peralta throws to Cabrera,

deazza fastball swings and misses, fastball inside, changeup low, swings and misses, curve on the corner strike three,

Verlander 11 pitch inning now with 95 pitches,

Tigers lead 4 - 0.

Damn Verlander is on fire now.. Pull him?

Maybe the Tigers can have such a long top half of the inning that JL has to pull him. You know bat around a couple of times.

They are averaging over 8 runs per game during this winning streak so hopefully we just have another good offensive showing for Penny.

Why do you guys want Verlander to be done pitching so badly tonight? He's not at a crazy pitch count and he doesn't seem tired. He's a freak. He doesn't need additional rest.
