This Loss is totally on Leyland for pitching JB over Dotel.... Fucking maddening how dumb our manager is.... Like starting a rookie in game 1 of the world series when Kenny was un-hit-able that post season... Please fire him DD..

Dotel is far better than Bonoit we'd probably be 3-4 games in first yet if not for all the stubborn coaching.

This team is in disarray, they cannot hit, every move Jimmy Smokes makes backfires.

All of our concerns are proving true.

Perralta had a career year last year and is back to being average.
Avila had a career year last year and is back to being average.
Fielder's power has not transferred well to the Copa.
Jackson is a talent, but he's inconsistent.
We have no speed on the bases
We have no one to play 2nd base and contribute offensively, NO ONE!
Our defense is bad
Benoit is shaky.
Valverde is going to come crashing back to earth after the miracle season last year.
We have no depth.
Inconsistent starting pitching outside of JV.

We had all of those concerns, but you figure only a couple would come to fruition and we'd be running away in the Central, but at this point every single concern I listed looks for real.

It's a long season though and this team can turn it around and they can correct or address many of their problems.

You don't know what you're talking about. No doubt its the offense but there shouldn't be much surprised. We have too many players that can't hit. And the Tigers must have the worse bench in ML history.

I agree....but the players on the roster had many chances to do their jobs and win this game...and they failed.

Look at the numbers before popping off. I never said it was not the players fault but early this season JB's numbers have been horrible. Managers are suppose to put the team in the best position to win.. if you look at the numbers that would be bringing in Dotel over Benoit right now..It may not be that way later in the season.. But right now it is... You did not see LaRussa last year for St. Louis not using his best option... Right now to get a clean inning it is not JB... Some of this has to fall on DD... Our bench is really bad when you are using Gerald Larid as your pinch runner... And when is enough bullpen enough... DD goes out and gets Dotel but when it was apparent that Albuquerque was not coming back why not go out and get some more bullpen help.... Yes the Players don't deliver and it is their fault but manager put the players in that spot to succeed or fail... Well today was another fail.... Loss belongs to the guy in charge...
