Top 100 of 2015 - Lions

OBJ.

the last 6 weeks of the season, the Giants played some of the worst rated passing defenses in the league. No wonder he went off.

Week 1-4 Giants played 3 top 10 passing teams. OBJ hurt. He lucked out there.

All 12 of his TDs against terrible passing defense teams.

Or...maybe it took him a few games to get used to the NFL (Unlike Ebron who couldn't figure it in a full season)

First 3 games (coming off of an injury) he had 10 catches for 106 yards.

The following 9 games he had 81 catches for 1199 yards. That is an average of 9/133 per game.

Shitty team in the Giants with one weapon playing shitty pass defenses. Not impressed by Beckham.

Eli only has one weapon who you are not impressed by and still completed a higher percentage of his passes, more yards, better YPC, better TD/INT ratio & better QB rating than Stafford.

Stafford played 9 games vs. teams in the bottom 1/2 of the league in passing defense.

He completed 61.7% of his passes had 11 TDs and 8 INTs and his QB rating was 85.3

Not impressed by Stafford.

Eli did his in garbage time against worse defenses. Eli is not impressive.

Stafford did great desptie no run game and protection. Stafford is impressive, Eli is not.

Eli was under pressure less dropback and % of drop backs.

And 4 of those 8 ints weren't Stafford's fault.

Eli drop % only 5% not 6% like Stafford.

7 of those 9 games. No run support for Stafford.

that's funny. The Giants had the exact same YPC as the Lions (3.6) & far inferior weapons (according to you CJ and Tate are better than OBJ) yet Eli had the better numbers. LOL

Eli had better protection and drop %. Are you not paying attention. And Eli did his in garbage times against worse teams.

And no Calvin in the Saints, Falcons and at Vikings games. No Ebron Falcons, at Vikings and Dolphins either.

Dolphins, Carolina, Falcons were decent in pass D.

And like I said, 4 ints weren't on Stafford.

Giants were Jax, Titans, Philly, Wash. Terrible.

need to see how Giants ran last 6 weeks too.

Eli had more picks in same attempts, better kicking % from his kicker. Eli was a garbage time man

Eli only sacke 28 times opposed to 45 for Stafford. Much better protection for Eli.

Stafford>Tannehill, Eli and Rivers. Keep em coming.

8 Picks not Eli's fault. Eli makes better and quicker decisions which is why he was sacked fewer times.

As far as Eli being better than Stafford...never said that. Just that his numbers are better and of course he is more accomplished. Never said Tannehill is better...just some of his numbers. Rivers...he is better and only a fool would say otherwise.

Garbage time as in behind by multiple scores with late in game?

If that is the case Manning actually didn't play nearly as well in those situations. He played his best, and far better than y6stafford in tied games or when withing a score.

Again, you don't know anything about football, you just continue to spew junk to try and prove a point that isn't even true. You fail as a fan, you fail a a poster, you fail as a troll, you are just a whole bunch of fail.

You are quite literally the only person who watches football in the entire world, not impressed by Beckham.

That should tell you something.

Your lord and savior Mayhew is very impressed by Beckham.

I know everything about football and this situation.

You didn't read the entire post. Eli had alot of garbage time TDs as the Giants sucked. And Eli had better protection than Stafford did. 28 sacks and less hits and hurries. The Giants are garbage and Stafford crushed them.

And when Beckham "went off' they were playing 6 garbage secondaries.

Eli had a ton of attempts behind on the year. when behind you can rack up the yards and garbage scores. See Stafford 2012.

Eli has more than one weapon on the team. Get real...

I'm curious to know what's considered a "garbage TD", because looking at the numbers, it's not clear that Manning was inflating his numbers because of them. I charted the time and score difference when each TD pass was thrown, here are the facts...

Score difference is the difference in the current score, either leading or trailing, before the TD is thrown

Manning
30 Total Passing TDs

TDs thrown, 0-7 score diff: 22 (73.3%)
TDs thrown, 8-14 score diff, pre-4th quarter: 3 (10%)
TDs thrown, 8-14 score diff, 4th quarter: 3 (10%)
TDs thrown, over 14 score diff: 2 (6.7%)

By quarter
1st: 9 (30%)
2nd: 8 (26.7%)
3rd: 5 (16.7%)
4th: 8 (26.7%)

Stafford
22 Total Passing TDs

TDs thrown, 0-7 score diff: 13 (59.1%)
TDs thrown, 8-14 score diff, pre-4th quarter: 4 (18.2%)
TDs thrown, 8-14 score diff, 4th quarter: 3 (13.6%)
TDs thrown, over 14 score diff: 2 (9.1%)

By quarter
1st: 6 (27.3%)
2nd: 6 (27.3%)
3rd: 4 (18.2%)
4th: 6 (27.3%)

Looking at each TD, I did a little bit of subjective analysis on whether it would be considered a "garbage TD", which I define as a TD thrown with a huge score difference (over 2 TDs), or late in a game at a moderate score difference (around 2 TDs).

To be quite honest, I don't think either QB was guilty of padding by way of garbage TD. For yards, I'm not sure...I didn't look at garbage yards because frankly I don't care about passing yards at all.

When UP is not garbage time. It's called dominating. The late 4th to Riddick is the only garbage for Stafford and we truly scored on the 2 point which would have made the onside kick more interesting. The block in the back on the PR and the holding allowed once Rodgers got hurt, handed that game to the Packers.

Eli had some garbage time scores like I said. He had better protection than Stafford. Eli had more picks on the same attempts. Eli played weaker defenses. Eli only had 5% drop %.

Stafford>Eli. It's proven.

Except he barely had any, which I just posted.

Unless 3 is considered a lot.

3 TDs and yards. And like I said drop rate and protection differences. And of course wins.

Here is some algebra for you Grandy:

E/S f{JV > L}

Where

E=Eli
S=Stafford
JV=JV Football Coordinator
L=Lombardi
