sure....but I always say something like "just for fun" knowing I have no clue what might happen. With LKP he makes his with built in excuses or excuses for poor past performance. His act is getting really old.

Ranked 99 in 2013. But you all dismissed that season for some reason.

Protects the ball but didn't have the run game and protection to shine. Dealt with some weapon injuries too.

Elite year coming in 2015. Year 2 of offense, healthy weapons, better run game and protection.

#99 would of been the 14th best QB, which was about right. He is average for his position, not sure how many other way we can show it. He just is not a top 10 QB.

Depends how many QBs are on the list. In the top 100 players in the league is a great thing. Good season in 2013, outstanding season in 2014. Stafford is firmly in the second tier borderline 5th best QB.

See we aren't comparing him to other LBers, Guards, Safties, Kickers, we are comparing him to other players that play his same position. A good year for him was the #14 QB in the league according the the rankings.

Being consistently the middle of the road isn't good enough when you are paid such a premium amount. By being average, but being paid elite, you are hurting the team buy not allowing the true elite players (Suh) to remain on the team because you are making so much.

Now I don't blame stafford for taking the money, I would too, this is a failure of management to over value him and is partly on Stafford not being able to raise his game.

QBs are tough to compare in a team sport. Many factors such as pressure, drop %, schemes run, years in the scheme, defenses faced, injuries for the team, run support, turnover support etc. You can make a case Stafford is the 5th best QB based on all that and the game tape.

Stafford was a good QB for us. Played a big part in 11 wins. We can win a Super bowl with him playing well. 12 ints in 600 attempts with many not his fault. Led us on 71 should be scoring drives and many others that were not his fault the drive stalled.

Stafford can have elite numbers. Give him protection or run support because he's not mobile.

And Stafford has one of the lowest contracts in new money for all the new QBs given up. More than Alex Smith and Dalton and that is it. Less new money per year than everyone who got a new contract.

He is performing at that level. He was good in 2013 and outstanding this year.

Game tape shows that. You have to understand all the factors that go into the stats.

And we'll lower his short term cap numbers with another extension after this season.
