That's why it's bad, imo. Sacks are graded heavily against the QB, even when sack has nothing to do with the QB's. We'll all seen QB's get sacked when they didn't have a chance. They shouldn't be a huge negative on you. Because they just assume all sacks were the fault of the QB's. That one stat makes the QBR dumb.
As far as the rest, I don't understand it fully either.
As for Matt doesn't matter much, 19th in passer rating, 22nd in QBR.

Read this...it helps explain it some. While I don't understand it I do think it is probably better than QB rating to determine how good a QB is actually playing.
