If this coaching staff doesn?t tank than they f?n suck! They won 3-games and had every veteran on the team quit on them last year.
Who quit on them last year?

Ownership has to eat that money. Coaching contract length means alot. It would take an Urban Meyer scandal for them to drop Campbell before 4 years
Holmes didn't hire a fall guy lol.
This is a good defensive coaching staff and Ben Johnson is a good mind that the Bengals keep trying to get. Brunell and Randle El and Staley and Fraley have all played the position and know plenty. Shepphard, Pleasant and Glenn too on defense. Wash is a vet Dline coach too that had success in Jacksonville
We'll see how they develop them. They did a good job with the young guys last year, got really good things out of a bust in Harris, turned Walker around
It was a 3 win team due to first year in the rebuild, some crazy last second kicks, dead cap from all the Quinn contracts/Stafford trade and all the injuries to basically the best veterans (Decker, Ragnow, Okwara, Flowers, Hock etc)
I'll take 3 wins to get KT and pick 34 and 66
Who quit on them last year?
The majority of the vets on the team?Hockenson, Flowers, Collins, Williams.
I can see the majority trying to argue Hock but you can?t argue the other 3 gave up and wanted out!
Cut the crap?Holmes had nothing to do w the DC hire. He was hired less than a week after Holmes got the job. DC is all Spielman and Woods, we all know that. It won?t surprise me though when they blame the brother for DCs failures and keep Spielman and Woods in their current roles.
Only Collins. Who was a a Patricia guy and has done the same thing before. Flowers was all class and got hurt. Lions cut him, he didn't walk. Flowers just had the back end of his monster deal so made sense to cut him for cap space especially after injuries. Nick Williams took a pay cut to stay and is now a FA
Class act and got hurt my ass. He knew we were bums and wasn?t going to suit up for this team last year.
Holmes I am sure had a list and plan in interviews. They all work in collaboration and Woods is out of the football side, only the business side of things
Holmes and Campbell get 4 years to fix it
He did suit up for this team. Check what he did for the community and the Lions statement when they released him. Far from someone who gave up on the team lol
You feed into any and everything this organization tells you. We know that about you. Nothing wrong w it. I like you LKP, we need homers like you!
Ok you are the real insider on Flowers quitting lol. Did you hide in the towel bin?
Call it what you want?the fact is the majority of vets didn?t play half the season+ and bounced when giving the opportunity. No pay cuts to stay w the team, no re-signing of the vets, just straight bounced. They wanted nothing to do w this coaching staff.

You?re a silly guy LKP. We all know the contract length means absolutely nothing. DC is nothing more than a fall guy. He?s here for 2 maybe 3 years total before being fired. He might be the reason why we went w Goff, anyone in their right mind knows we can?t have DC and Burnell developing a young QB.
You got it all figured out. If they lose (tank) then they're doing the right thing.
If they try to win or actually put together a six or seven win season, then they suck.
What's wrong with this picture?
You misread my quote. I responded to someone that said this coaching staff does not tank.
What I meant is if they aren?t purposely tanking, then they must suck.

Really really hope some good WRs fall to 32/34.
Becoming increasingly important to have good WRs on rookie contracts. Will be interested to see the cap situation of some of these teams in a few years.
Based on this 32. Get that 5th year option for them
well, if they end up being really good like the 3 in the article, they will probably want to get paid after 3 years.
