Coaching Search Recap

It's true stafford is way better than Brady. Stafford helped get us the 10 th pick Brady might end up with the 32nd (those poor NE fans).

the interesting part of this is what draft pick will turn out better. Our 10th pick or their 28th+ pick.

I just don't understand how you could say Stafford had a better year than Brady...games aren't won based on statistics. Sure, Stafford might've had 6 more TDs, but maybe that has to do with one of your points (according to you the Patriots had a better running game).

Most importantly, Brady had 11 interceptions for the season, Stafford had 19. Brady had 0 multiple interception games this year, Stafford had 4. And if you want to say some of Stafford's interceptions were not his fault, I guarantee some of Brady's weren't his fault either. And that doesn't even take into account the fumbles. According to ESPN, Stafford had 12 and Brady had 9. Turnovers KILL drives and set up short fields for the opposing team, like you've pointed out in most of your posts.

Stafford had 6 fumbles in snow and only lost one. Stafford and Brady had very similar attempts yet more TDs for Stafford.

9 of Staffords ints in wins. 10 matter and not all were his fault. 21 TDs and 8 ints in his first 10 games. Stafford is a good QB. We are lucky to have him despite the Ravens, Bucs and Giants fiasco. Stafford made enough plays to win in those games including a great throw to Calvin against Bucs, a should be game winning TD drive against the Ravens. Giants game I'll give Ross and the run game and the safety credit for the comeback though. Down 13-3 was not Staffords fault. More the refs with the bogus call on Sims when Stafford hit Bell for a big screen into the redzone. 10-10 game really, 10-6 at worst.

60 targets for gronk isn't a lot lol. 80 targets for a guy that should catch 100 passes...isn't a lot. Dobson didnt even play. Brady adjusted, worked with what he got...and almost got his team a 1 seed after numerous injures/jail derailed his targets. Ridley benched, Vereen injured, Gronk injured, Welker gone, Woodhead gone, Hernandez shot people in the head, Amendola injured. We complain when staff is missing one of his targets....Brady was missing like all of them lmao. Its very "simple" to see how a good qb can make "the next guy up" produce and be better and help the team win. He turned Edelman into a 100+ catch WR. Your comparisons are once again ridiculous....

Exactly. Not to mention the O-Line changes on top of all. I could not have said it any better.

six fumbles and lost only one... Just curious was there any positive yardage in the 5 fumbles he or other lions recovered ? Probably just 5 more wasted plays from Matt Snackford...
Int In the Bucs and Giants game cost the team two wins... His over throws you continue to just ignore.. He over threw guys all season..

jesus Christ lol....

Stafford is better than brady?
Competition was different.....the competition we faced sucked ass.....and we still lost.

yeah, the Lions also were practically handed the NFCN on a silver platter when both Cutler and Rodgers were injured for a significant amount of games, yet the Lions still could not take advantage. To be fair though, the Lions would have needed to win two more games instead of just one, since the Packers played (and defeated) the Bears in their final game of the season. Going 3-4 or better to finish was just too tall of an order for this band of undisciplined underachievers.

They took advantage against the Packers 40-10. Beat the Bears twice with Cutler/held on against McCown. Couldn't beat some hot PA teams on the road in bad weather. Giants and Ravens are consistent playoff teams and were hot and they lost close ones and the Bucs are good at forcing turnovers this season (they got 5 plus a blocked punt) in the strech Bucs won 4 of 5 and took Seatle to OT at Seattle. at Vikings no Calvin and Pettigrew in meaningless game at the time.

You underestimate the schedule. You also underestimate the pressure on Stafford during turnovers. Disappointing. Schwartz and Linehan got fired. We'll see if its coaching or players.

Packer took advantage of the Lions Week 5 without Calvin and Burleson. Giants without Pettigrew and our top 4 CBs and a limited Calvin. at Pittsburgh no Ansah/Jones, Bentley or Burleson/Broyles and Quin in the second half and Bell in the 4th.

What kind if logic is that? INTs do not matter in wins? So TDs don't matter in losses.

Stafford LKP adjusted: 16TD 10INT
Brady LKP adjusted: 22TD 4INT

Based on your own logic it cleary shows Brady was better. Calvin + crap is still better than what Brady had.

Nope Brady had it easy. AFC East easy. Most overrated QB ever.

TDS always matters. Means you should have won. Ints don't if you win and deseved to win like the Lions did in 7 games.

if anyone ever agrees with LKP again....they are as dumb as lkp

Used to enjoy reading LKP's posts, then he went insane.

More negative than 'hughes? I feel honored. It's not negative it's knowing we have an average QB and a team who can't seem to win a playoff game. I bet many agree with me on this.

Now you can go back to saying Stafford is a top five QB.

It's not even about Stafford, you jerkoff. IT'S EVERYTHING. Do you need a sign??

and i dont remember ever saying Stafford was a top 5 QB.
